"OK, things have changed and I want to update my review. I had a terrible time at first, gave them a bad rating, then within a couple of hours of the bad rating JewelryBoxDirect contacted me via e-mail with a pleasant letter which informed me they had a new box on the way and all I had to do was ship the old one back (no cost to me) when a shipping label arrived. Both the box and label arrived the same day. I wish they would have done this for me two weeks earlier, they would have gotten a good review. "

"This is a terrible company. I ordered two trinket boxes; only one was delivered. The website showed both trinket boxes were delivered (had the same tracking #). The box the trinket box came in was only big enough for one. I tried to call the company. All you get is a recording of some guy saying they would call me back in the order in which they received my call. I never got a call back. I kept calling for days and the same recording comes on. You cannot get in touch with anyone. I finally called my credit card company and diputed the charge and I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. Shortly after that I received an e-mail saying they would credit the charge. That was another thing. I had even sent an e-mail to the customer service center and received no reply. This place is out to rip you off. If things go right then you may not have problems but if there is a problem with your order; BEWARE! you will not be able to get a hold of a person to resolve the issue."
"I ordered two boxes as a Christmas presents. One box was amazing ( $200), but the second one ( $75 ) and looked cheap and very poorly made. I returned it after requesting RMA number on 12/18/2010 and they received it on 12/27/10. It has being a three weeks and they didn't issue a refund. I emailed them two times and left a message... so far no response...will be updating... So far the worse customer service I ever experienced! If I will not have response by end of this week,I will be disputing with my credit card. "
"I paid $40 something dollars for a jewelry box that plays music. It was gorgeous. I also paid an additional $20 on top for two-day shipping. 48hrs go by, and I never get an invoice through my email. I was really anxious and worried this whole time; hoping to god it was on it's way. Three whole days go by, and I havn't received anything. No invoice, no package. But a-ho!! I check my account and I was charged $60 something dollars. So where was it? I call customer service. The guy assures me that they don't charge anyone's account until the product is shipped, yet I was staring at my statement while calling him. I tell him I'm looking at the charges, I SEE them, yet he continues to lie to me and changes the subject. He assures me that he will fix my problem and find out what happened. I never got a call back. I was never refunded my shipping money. I got the item FOUR weeks after I ordered the damn thing. They have great products, but the customer service is deplorable and they need better follow-up. Not to mention, honest people who don't lie to you, and don't refund your shipping."

"This has been probably the worst customer experience I have ever had with an online site. I purchased a box as a Christmas present. The box was very nice and delivered quickly, however my wife decided she wanted one that was a little bit bigger. So we started the return process and got it back within the holiday return window. They received the box back on Jan 13, 2010. It is now March 5, 2010 and they have yet to even acknowledge it has been delivered to them. When I attempt to contact them to figure out what to do they simply tell me to wait longer.
Customer service has been terrible at best. Let me quote from the last email I received after again contacting them trying to find out what the status of my return was. "Customer Service is not in the warehouse, we are not aware of when items are shipped out or returned... Customer Service is not authorized to place second orders for customers, we cannot access the credit card information area." They then told me to send them my shipping information from the package I sent back. It has been 2 weeks now and I haven't heard a word from them since.
Initially it was very smooth transaction and a good product but attempting to return the item has been so bad I cannot recommend this site to anyone. STAY AWAY!
