"Ordered a watch on 12/22 as a Xmas gift. Ordered with 2 day shipping even though Newark area is 1 day shipping at most from NY city. Label was created on 12/22 but as of Dec 28 the tracking number said it was not given to UPS. Called on 24th to find out the problem and chat just gave me the same tracking # and cut me off before I could discuss with them.
Constantly have been calling them for about 4 days to get my 2 day shipping charge dropped since I received the watch on Dec 30 (8 days to ship from NYC to Newark!!!). Chat said they would request a shipping refund but I have not seen any refund to my cc as of yet (Jan 6).
Received on Dec 30 but by that time my son (gift recipient) was in Vermont. He returned on Jan 5th. Gave him the watch and the very same day the reset button on the watch chronograph falls off. More rounds of no chat and phone calls never being picked up so I just requested an RMA.
The automated stuff (ordering, RMA, etc) work fine but don't try to speak to a live person.
I have ordered from Jomashop numerous times in the past and they have always been great to deal with. Granted I have never had problems before so I assumed customer service would be as good as past ordering/delivery had been. Either things have gone terribly wrong over there or perhaps the business changed hands or maybe I never knew of the customer service issues but the customer service at Jomashop is non-existent.
BTW, all of this time I have been writing this, I have supposedly been on chat at Jomashop. They have not responded once to any of my chat questions. Disappointing experience.
