"I ordered an item on Dec 11th that showed as in stock with the expectation that I would have it for the holidays. I was pretty happy to receive an email that very same day that my item had shipped. As I would later find out though, the item was marked as "shipped" by Jomashop, but according to the USPS , all Jomashop did was create a shipping label, but the item was never actually picked up for shipment.
After waiting for about a week for this item to finally be picked up and on my way to me, I started to get concerned. So on Dec 18th (Friday), I attempted to call customer service to find out what's going on with my item. I was on hold for about 30 min, when I got the option to have them call me back when it was "my turn". So I chose this option. Even though it was only about 10 am, I never received a call back. On Sunday night, I decided to follow up my phone call with an email to their customer service department - surely I would hear from someone back this time! I received no response. I waited 24 hours and sent a follow up email on Monday. I called again on Tuesday and after wasting another 30 minutes on hold, requested yet another call back via their automated call back system. Never got a call back. Emailed again on Wednesday, but never got a response.
And then on Thursday, Dec 24th, I get an email asking me to review my shopping experience with them on this website. According to this email, Jomashop has "an outstanding customer satisfaction rate of 97% (based on a recent poll conducted among past customers)". In all honesty, I'm surprised it's anything above 0. As far as submitting the rating, you get what you ask for. This is honestly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've experienced poor customer service before, but never have I ever not been able to get a hold of someone for over a week to just ask a simple question. I can't possibly be the only person with a question about my order - the fact that they just ignore any and all attempts to contact them is pretty insane.
Throughout this ordeal, I've continued to receive multiple daily emails from Jomashop hawking their items. As late as Dec 23rd, I received an email from them indicating that many of the items are available for order with enough time to be delivered before Christmas! This almost seemed like a slap in the face! I think they need to take all of their marketing people who send out these emails and have them answer phones and/or respond to the actual customer emails.
Needless to say that I did not receive my order before the holidays. And the crazy part about it is - I would have understood if they at least got on the phone with me or at least respond to one my emails and says "Yes, sorry, we screwed up". But they didn't. I know I could just dispute the charge with my credit card, which I will do, but just wanted to let everyone know about this experience and let you decide what type of company this is. If this is indicative of how they do business, I'm surprised that they've stayed in business for this long. "

but jomashop will not send me a replacement,(it’s a Christmas gift) they are waiting for the insurance to go through with Usps first in order to get the money. I understand that the lost package is not their fault, but not getting a replacement sent is poor customer service especially with the high end merchandise being sold.
