"Ordered a pair of headlights on Thursday for something time sensitive and recieved an email on Friday that my order was canceled because a proper name was not provided on the order.
If a proper name was not provided, how was it able to submit when it's a required field. If a proper name was not provided then how did they verify that my credit card was valid and complete the order. And most of all of a proper name was not provided WHY DID THEY NOT CALL THE PHONE NUMBER LISTED RIGHT THERE ON THE ORDER TO VERFIY. This is horrible customer service, ridiculius. I obviously provided a name or I would not have been able to submit the form. Now since it's Friday, I won't be able to resolve this until Monday meaning I may not complete the project on time. Based on the other feedback on the site they will most likely not offer anything as a consolation. Not only will I not receive my memorial day discount I will have to pay EXTRA to get the item on time from someone else. Based on this first impression I don't plan to ever order from K2 again and will make sure to let all of my friends know not to purchase either.

While I appreciate the offer for a call (which I am still waiting for), I don't think this solves my issue(s). As I said, my card was verified and has to be verified in order to submit the order form on you site (for example, you cannot enter fake info OR no name and still submit the order by pressing the submit button). Second, my card WAS INFACT charged. I am looking at the charge right now on my bank statement online. In order to process a card you need to have a name. So I'm not sure how it was processed then. Last, I ask AGAIN, why does K2 even ask for a phone number if they aren't going to use it? It would have solved this whole issue if someone would have have used the phone number that was there in clear sight. I ALSO called the customer service center last Thursday at 4pm pst to see the status of my order that was placed at 12 noon that day. They were unable to find the order by name but found it by address which should have rung a bell being a customer service rep to inform me AND fix the name error at that time. So all in All K2 had not one but TWO chances to fix this issue without conflict but failed in both. This is just bad customer service. While I do appreciate the honoring of the promotional discount, how will I get my product on time now seeing as how it is time sensitive? If this error was resolved earlier as it should have been, my product would be arriving today? Am I now to pay an extra 30-70 dollars for expedited shipping in order to get my product on time even though ground shipping should have been fine as of thursday? Furthermore, after contacting another site, they offered to not only match the price but give me free rush shipping to compensate for my lack of service. If you want a good example of great customer service that is it (I'll give more information once I receive the promised follow up call).

Received a call from K2 and they were able to provide assistance via an explanation. Although I still had to go through another front end to get my product, The K2 rep did offer their direct line and discount for any future issues which I think is a great start, they were also very helpful and answered the majority of my questions. I am still unsure why my card was pre-authorized without complete information but I am confident that this issue will not happen in the future based in our conversation. Based on this, I will be hesitant to order with K2 in the future but I will certainly at least consider them again to see if my overall experience can be improved. As such I have raised my rating to reflect my honest feedback for the company."

"Took a risk and ordered the spec-d headlights 2/21 for my dodge caliber even after reading very concerning reviews. Submitted my order without issues, and received the package on 2/26 (5 stars). Opened the package and found the driver side headlight with a broken mounting bracket. Called K2 on 2/27 and waited on hold for 15 minutes before speaking with an agent. Israel was helpful on requesting a replacement. Never received email confirmation of replacement, nor did UPS call to pick up damaged light. Called back 3/2 (17 min hold) and was told it would be shipped by EOD. Still no email confirm or track# (4 stars). Chat on 3/3, was given track#, showing did not ship until late 3/3. Track# gave no details (no estimated shipping date). Called again 3/5, placed on hold until closing time and then forwarded to voicemail. Left message for callback as UPS never came to pick up damaged light. No callback to date (3 stars). Finally receive replacement late 3/9, and just as luck would have it, the light is damaged at the exact same bracket. (2 stars). I will be calling tomorrow (3/10) not anticipating another 15+ min hold and will ask for a supervisor for a resolution. Will update once i receive a non-damaged light with a final review depending on the resolution. "

"I have purchased twice now from k2. Both purchases required some questions to be answered such as: to make sure I got the right headlights and that they would be as I hoped they would be. Both times I received quick caring communication with k2 and both times they saw that things were taken care of timely. I really wish they sold more parts for my car so I could give them more business. "
"I had to call the company after a week with no delivery to find out that they supposedly called me before and the number was wrong when it was not. I was told I needed to verify something over the phone before they could ship my product. I waited a week to hear this and I called them. Then they said they emailed me which they didn't because how is it that I can recieve an email receipt of the transaction the day I ordered it and not receive an email about verifying my information on the order? Then I was told it would not be shipped today (1/23/2015 a Friday) because it's not a business day. Almost 2 weeks for this product. I would have expected next day shipping for no additional cost to re satisfy me but nope. I'm very dissatisfied. Would not recommend this place to anyone nor will I shop here again. "
"DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I bought a set of headlights for son for Christmas. When we opened the box both of the lights had the mounting tabs broken off. I contacted them on 12/26/14, they told me that day that new lights would be shipped out and they would send UPS to pick up broken lights. On 12/29/14 old lights picked up but still no tracking number on new ones. 12/29 I was told when I emailed that new lights were sent, then 12/30 I was told they were going out that day, 12/31 I called. I was then told they didnt have the lights in stock and were expecting a shippment on 1/6/15. I called on 1/6/15 and was told that had received the shippment and the lights were shipped and that I would get a tracking number that night. 1/7/15 I still had not gotten a tracking number, so again I called and left message. I then got a call from the manager saying they did not get the lights and he didnt know why I was told this etc... I agreed to let them send me a different light if they would overnight it. I got a call later that night saying they found a set of the orignal lights I bought in the warehouse and they were being overnighted to me. I received the new lights today 1/8/15 and one of the lights is great, the other has the same broken tab!!! They are horrible and I will never buy anything from them again! "

"so i ordered a set of spec -d led taillights for my car ( chevy cobalt coupe) from them . the price was cheap but i did have some problem 1: the lights didn't come with hardware to install them. also there were no threads on the bolts that hold the backup lights in place. so i had to go to the hardware store and basically buy nuts and use them to make thread in the bolts to get them to hold. the outer taillights i just used the existing hardware from my old light. 2: one of the bolts for both backup lights broke in half when i was installing them , and 3: when i tried to call customer service to have them replaced they hung up on me. :( . i ended up throwing the backup lights out and putting my old lights back in. never buying from them again. "

"This product was advertised to fit a 2011 Frontier without qualifications, that is not correct. It turns out it will only fit Nissan Frontiers with "painted" bumpers. Mine, 2011 Frontier like the vast majority has a chrome bumper. Calling tech help was a large waste of time. The call Bach for additional tech help never came. Had to determine what the reason the the FG lights wouldn't fit by internet research. In a effort to get the lights to fit I modified one of the brackets so I can not return them. Fortunately some of the parts are useful so it was not a total waste of money and time."
