"I was very pleased with the speed of delivery. I ordered on a Friday and it was there by Monday, much to my surprise. The battery itself did not fit as smoothly as the old battery and they were identical batteries according to the ID numbers. The battery holds a charge for at least three hours, which is great. Recharging from fully discharged takes an inordinate amount of time, however (24 hours plus!). I am using an older Toshiba so I'm not positive if the problem is with the battery, the laptop, or the tight fit. Once charged, it works great and rarely do I ever let the thing completely discharge, so I opted to stick with the battery since I needed the laptop right away and couldn't wait to return."

"Battery arrived at the promised date. It took 3 cycles to fully charge it and my laptop would not start up with out the battery being installed. I began to suspect that the charger was defective but on the 3rd charging the battery reached 100%. I then took the battery out and restarted the computer with the AC adapter and it started right up! Go figure.

I will now recycle the battery several times to make sure it is performing properly.

Laptop Battery One lists all the models and that allows you to be sure of your purchase. Also, other websites have too many choices with a lot of cheap models of lower quality that can't be trusted. "Buyer Beware!! Although the price was $7 less than Dell, the aggravation of buying from Laptop Battery One was not worth the cost savings. First shipment was timely (I should hope so because I paid extra for overnight shipment prior to a business trip), but first battery didn't fit securely (would not lock in place), difficulty getting resolution from customer service (over 30 minute wait times every time I had to call, promises to send status emails were never done). Never replied after RMA and battery returned (they had the return for almost one week and still had not sent out replacement). After call (30 minute wait time again) they said they did receive it and would get accounting to overnight a replacement. No explanation why they waited for me to have to call. After two days still had not received confirmation that replacement was sent out so I called (30 minute wait time again) and come to find out they still had not sent it out. No explanation and I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to call and find out why. Finally sent out replacement another two days later and I just received it and it is completely the wrong battery model (would not even fit). I have called AMEX to put stop payment. Terrible experience... Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them ever again. Back to Dell to purchase replacement. Worth the extra $7 cost to get something right the first tiem."
