"Not wanting to wait for a shipment from China I purchased a keyboard replacement from Laptop Keyboard. Quickly received the keyboard and installed it in customer's computer. Unfortunately the replacement needed replacing. Made contact with support and within a few days had a good working keyboard sent to me at no extra charge. New keyboard worked perfectly and customer was happy weeks before the one shipped from China would even be arriving. Highly recommend purchasing and working with this company. "

Great Service

"Just placed an order with Laptopkey.com and can't rate their Customer Service highly enough. They messaged me back after placing the order and asked me to send in a photograph of the damaged key. On checking the picture they noted that I'd ordered the wrong style of replacement part so helped me update my order to reflect the correct type. All done by email, with clear and concise instruction and guidance. The whole experience was first class. I'm looking forward to receiving my parts, but I know with confidence that they're going to fit. Awesome!"

Changing a keyboard on my Toshiba Satellite C55T-C5300

It turns out that this particular keyboard is much harder to change out that a lot of other models. I wrote to the company and explained my concerns and I got excellent support on how to proceed. "I ordered replacement keys for old Dell laptop. Website very helpful in getting correct key and hinge. Who knew several styles were available for that model. Order arrived in just a few days. Keys were easy to replace with help from video links showing correct steps for removal of broken hinges and placement of new keys. Awesome!"

"The keyboard for my HP 530 arrived shortly after purchase but unfortunately was the wrong one. Contacted Laptopkey and informed their representative (Mary) of the matter, she located and special ordered the exact model which arrived a few days later. This keyboard looks and fits great in my laptop. Kudos to Laptopkey for the product and the superior customer service!!"

Terrible Customer Service

"I ordered a replacement key from them. They charged $3.50 shipping and mailed it in a regular, unpadded envelope. The stamp cost them $0.49, so wow, a bit of an overcharge. I mistakenly ordered the wrong key and they customer service rep I corresponded with was rude and condescending. Horrible company to do business with. I will never use them again."

Everything worked perfectly and saved me from having to buy a whole new keyboard!

"I thought I'd need to buy a whole new keyboard when my W key started to stick. After a little research and testing by swapping the key to another position on the keyboard I determined it was actually the little plastic cup (like a spring to push the key back upwards) that had worn out. I was fortunate to find a link to Laptopkey.com and I ordered just a single key. Everything was quick and just as advertised. Soon my new key arrived and after replacing everything my laptop works perfectly again. They saved me quite a bit of money by letting me get just one key rather than a whole new keyboard. Thanks again!"

C'mon guys, you only have one job!

"I ordered a "9" key for a Lenovo Yoga 910 131KB and received a "G" key for some other computer (wrong key, doesn't fit). I used their contact form to request they send the correct key and have heard absolutely nothing from them. So, it looks like I'm out the $10+ and finally ordered the key from a different site. Fingers crossed."

Quick and thorough service

"They help me through the entire purchase process of the laptop key. I sent them a screenshot of the hinges I needed and they were able to select the correct product that matched my laptop. I suggest using the pics if not too confident about the guide on the website. The key that was replaced fit perfectly on the keyboard. Color me impressed.

Wonderful

"I ordered the completely wrong keys the first time because I was in a hurry, and when I realized that I had ordered the wrong keys (Lenovo Y730 instead of Y700 keys), the company refunded my full order without even charging the postage.

The second time I wasn't in a hurry to make it to a Thanksgiving event, so I took the time to use the helpful guide on the company's site that showed the two possible variations in the Y700 keys to get the right ones. Will definitely order again if I ever need other keys.

Poor instructions and non-existent customer service

"I purchased a replacement key for my MicroSoft Surface Pro 4. Laptopkey.com's website provided very good directions on which key to purchase and how to install the new key. It arrived quickly but when I took it out of the envelope, the plastic tab was attached to the key cover (the cover is the one that has the letter of the key...the piece you actually push). Since the original plastic tab on my keyboard was still in place and not broken, I just wanted to replace the key cover. Of course, this meant getting the cover separated from the new tab it was attached to. When I looked at the website, I saw no directions on how to accomplish this. I did my best based on the instructional video on their website, which demonstrated how to get the key cover off when it was installed on the keyboard. However, when I tried this with the new key and plastic tab, it damaged the hooks on the back of the cover. So, when I tried to snap it onto the already installed tab, it wouldn't stay attached...kept falling off. I wrote an email to their service department personnel but never received a response back (2+ weeks now). I ended up going to the MS Store and even though the keyboard was out of warranty (the computer was still in warranty), they did an "exchange" and gave me a new keyboard. REPLACING A KEY IS NOT ALWAYS AS SIMPLE AND EASY AS THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE....BUYER BEWARE!"
