I just wanted to comment the awesome service provided by www.laptop-keys.com

I was really stressed out on trying to fix my laptop because I had two mid term papers due by the end of the week. My pet bird broke the letter M key on my laptop and was seriously slowing me down in the paper writing process. I tried taking it to best buy and staples but they were trying to charge me 200 to fix my problem, they did not sell individual keys they replace the whole keyboard.

"[Note to ResellerRatings.com: In the field "Invoice or order #" I entered what they call the "transaction ID" in a mail I received - I'm not sure whether this is the same as the "Invoice or order #", but it's the only ID of any kind I got.
Also, Laptopkey.com linked this website in a concluding e-mail to me after I thanked them for the outstanding service, but they did not directly ask me to write this specific review - I seriously hope you guys don't mean "Did they pay you to give them a good rating/Are you a member of their PR section?" when you ask "Did Laptopkey.com ask you to write this review?". I checked the box because they referred me to this website, nothing more.]

Having broken two of my laptop's keys, I contacted Lenovo, the manufacturer, but was told they could not send me any replacement keys, not even a whole keyboard set and that I could either send the laptop in for repair or look for 3rd party solutions.
Last time I sent in a laptop, however, it took the manufacturer no less than three whole months to repair and return it, so this was not an option to me, especially not if it's just for two pieces of plastic that should not require a great deal of expertise to replace.
So I looked for 3rd party solutions and found Laptopkey.com.
I must admit I was skeptical at first, but given that Paypal gives you the option of taking your money back in case of suspected fraud, I went for it and ordered the two replacement keys from them.
Since I live in Germany, shipment could take up to three weeks, so I waited, but the keys did not arrive. After a short e-mail exchange with Laptopkey.com's support, they apologised for the inconvenience, saying that USPS might have lost the package and sent another pair of keys.
At this point, I was pretty convinced that the whole thing must have been fraudulent and prepared for ordering Paypal to withdraw my money (this is possible for up to 45 days after the transaction, so there was no rush).

But to my surprise, one week later, the keys had arrived!
I built them into the spaces left empty by the broken keys according to the guide Laptopkey.com provided and now I have a complete keyboard again!

If you think about it for a second, this is quite astonishing in terms of service: They actually sent the same pair of keys twice when it wasn't even their but USPS's or the German postal service's fault that the first pair didn't arrive as it should have. I don't know what the legal situation in such cases is, but find this quite noble and remarkable in any event.

So if you're looking for replacement keys, Laptopkey.com is the way to go (I haven't tried any other service so far, but this one works and doesn't cost a lot, so it's fine by me)."
