"Horrible. UN-REPUTIBLE COMPANY! They sold us a damaged and defective product that sustaind water and fire damage prior to it leaving Legend Mciro and when they were contacted regarding the bad merchandise they began to scream and yell at the IT manager claiming we had 24 hours from receipt of the package to notify them but the receiver was on vacation for Christmas and our office was closed due to extreme weather for about 2 weeks. A Legal dispute is currently going on. Legend Micro has HORRIBLE customer service, someone actually called and yelled at me when we attempted to return the package back to them. We are a world wide company that is contracted with various countries and states. "

"Legend Micro has discount store store - Deal-Stop.com they had the best deal on Samsung 245BW- new open box, monitor has been delivered to us to NY in 2 days even we paid for ground shipping, tracking number has been provided same day. Monior is actually NEW- cosmetically and works great. Best thing asbout this company- fast shipping lowest price- nice people on the phone, also they offered us call them with any questions or problems and if we ever have any problem with monitor to contact them insted of going to Samsung. My friend recommended me this site , he bpught a recertified monior from the them 11 month ago and they replaced it for him when he had a problem with it. Recomend this company to everyone!"

"Not the first monitor I bought from LegendMicro, I bought it directly on the LegendMicro website. Couldnt be happier. They had the best price by far for a monitor this size. Shipping was quick and easy. I'm really glad they added signature required because someone couldve swiped it from my front porch. Amazing quality for a fraction of what other big retailers sell it for.

I always check their website when I need electronics.

"The monitor I bought from them was advertised "Demo with factory warranty". What I received was a beat-up 4-year old monitor with 90 day warranty from the seller. Their customer "service" refused to take it back, insisted that the monitor was exactly as described, and accused me of extortion."

"I purchased drives that were supposed to be NEW ST3146807LCV, 320MB/s transfer rate. Upon hooking up to the system the drives showed model number SX3146807LC and were locked at 80MB/s transfer rate. The drives could not be formatted and were unusable. I tested in three different systems with the same result. Also the firmware on the drive label showed C809 and in the Seagate tools software it was actually showing C807 so the drives had been modified, this making it impossible for them to be new. Seagate technical support even validated that these drives had been modified. The selling was uncooperative and actually hung up on me as I tried to explain the fact they were not following their policy of honoring what they advertised. They would not take off the 20% restocking fee. I am pursuing this with Ohio State's Attorney Office website as I have read others have has success. If not I just chalk it up to another shady business to avoid."

"Delivery took forever. Item was broken. Useless customer service. Will never buy again. Their policy states that “Orders paid with Paypal with non confirmed delivery address are subject to management approval.” I called them and they refused to deliver the item to my "unconfirmed address" but accepted to send it to my credit card address which is the same address. When I requested to cancel the order because shipping to my "unconfirmed address" was denied they refused. They were rude and impolite on the phone.
On top of everything the item they sent to me did not work. When I contacted “legend-micro” their answer was “You can contact the manufacturer at 800...” when they clearly state that “All product guaranteed against DOA” and despite I follow the procedures and asked for the “Return Merchant Authorization number (RMA#)”.
I received an email from “legend-micro”: “DO YOU LIKE IT BETTER??? WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, TO REMOVE FEEDBACK CONTACT ME!!!” Again, very rude.

"They advertised a "factory sealed box" containing a Lexmark Z65 printer. The "factory sealed box" says on it "Cartridges included: Black 82 | Color 83" but no cartridge was in the box. Emails and calls to customer service were unavailing. They don't sell what they say and won't make good on their word. Never again! "

"Purchased 5 identical Samsung printers. One printer, with less than 200 copies processed stopped working. The problem appears to be the electrical connection or switch as the printer will no longer power up. I contacted Legend but have not received any response. They choose to totally ignore a customer who has any problem with any item that they sell. They are not interested in backing what they sell. They are only interested in taking your money.

BE VERY WARY OF THIS SELLER. MY ADVICE IS TO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER, BECAUSE IF YOU DO, AND IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. They will not acknowledge that you even exist after the purchase is complete. You will not even get a refusal from them. You will be ignored.

You would be much wiser to purchase from a seller that backs what they sell, and who will help and service you when you have a problem. Legend IS NOT THIS TYPE OF SELLER. BE SMART -- STAY AWAY !!

"Laptop Backpack Woes

I loved by buddy’s Targus TSB215 and wanted a similar backpack for myself. I did some searching and found out that the TSB212 was almost the same pack, and I compared it on Targus’ site (http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=TSB212 ) and Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005T3H5/***-***-****-5720110?v=glance ). When I did a Froogle search I found the cheapest price at Legend Micro ( http://www.legendmicro.com/store/more_info.asp?product_ID=3059 ) but there was only a thumbnail of the backpack there. I figured it’s the same part number so I ordered it. Well, what I got is labeled on the inside tag as a TSB212, but it’s not the same as what’s on Targus’ site. Maybe they changed something about the model at some point and Legend Micro only has the old version. Next time I think I’ll spend the extra $10 and go to Amazon. I did not care much for the attitude I got while I was on the phone with them about it so I figured I’d write this review. While I guess I technically got what I ordered, I’m not happy with it.
