Well it's been a couple months now and the monitor has crapped out on me. I'm thinking Ledgend Micro doesn't really refurbish its products but just dumpster dives and sells what it finds. I have changed my mind and will not buy from them again.
OK they got back to me and were very courtious and seemed a little hurt that I was unhappy. They couldn't replace the monitor with a duplicate but did replace it with one in kind. So far it is working as it should. They do seem like they want the customer to be happy with their purchase. Now I guess I would be willing to buy from them again."
"I purchased 5 Samsung refurbished monitors from Legend Micro through buy.com. one came with a damaged bezel and another came DOA. (The picture would turn white after it has been on for a while)
The initial RMA from the failed monitor went fine, they responded fast. The replacement monitor was not installed until after their 90 day warrantee expired but it was also DOA.
I emailed them a couple times and this is their final response
"We apologize for inconvenience, but unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it. This item has only 90 days of warranty from the original day of purchase
