"The only reason you should order from this company is if you prefer to have your money stolen from you without receiving what you actually ordered. To give you a back-story, I spent nearly $400 to order multiple 6-pack boxes of MONTHLY lenses, and to my surprise, was sent 6 tiny two-pack boxes of DAILY contact lenses, enough to last me less than two weeks. What surprised me even more was that one of the boxes was tampered with and contaminated with some residue present in the lens container, which is a violation of the FDA and Federal Trade Commission regulation that contact lenses have.
I immediately e-mailed their customer service department, and didn’t hear a response back for about ONE WEEK. In my e-mail, I asked why I had received daily lenses instead of monthly lenses and also brought up their contaminated product. They only offered to give me $20 for the contaminated product, and did not refund me for the incorrect products that were sent to me. I then voided the payment with my bank to get my proper refund, but they reversed this attempt by claiming that I had started to use the contact lenses that they had sent to me, when I had no choice to since I had ran out and did not expect to be sent a product different from what I ordered.
Despite trying to escalate this concern to management, it took them almost three months to get back to me regarding my concern. This is when they decided to also mention that the product actually was a monthly lens (written in the tiniest print in the back of the package), even though it had “DAILY” written in all caps in the front and back of the packaging.
It’s fair to say that I will be calling the FDA regarding their contaminated product and also strongly recommend against ordering from this company given my disappointing experience. You are better off taking your money and ordering from any other contact lens supplier who actually makes an effort to ensure that their customer is satisfied. I’m sorry to have wasted three months with this disappointing and sub-par excuse for a company."
"I thought i was buying contact lenses from 1800contacts. Unfortunately, for some reason Lens.com website popped up and i unfortunately made the mistake of ordering from them. I ordered 2 years worth. Reasonably priced and received in a timely
fashion. I wasn't in desperate need in that i had just gotten my new Rx. Unfortunately, one (1) box expires 9/2025 and the other three (3) expire 12/2025. I ordered in april 2024, which means at least one (1) box should expire in
2026. I advised customer service of the issue. They reiterated what i said about the expiration dates, with no resolution. The last communication from them stated that they "guarantee one year" . Why would a company
only guarantee 1 year if someone purchases enough for 2 years? I asked for that information to be sent to me, but, as you can expect, they never replied. Expired contacts could cause irritation, infection, or even worse
blindness. I took time to look them up on the internet. They received a 2.8 rating out of 5 . They are NOT recognized by the Better Business Bureau. Their website has NO reviews past 2023. I would NOT recommend buying from this company. Please make sure
you know who you are buying from before you waste your money. "

"My second unsatisfactory interaction with this company!!!! Ordered lens on 12/18/23. Their confirmation email states they will arrive by 12/28/23. Another email states they will be shipped 01/02/24. And yet another email states they will be shipped on 01/05/24. I call on this date (01/05) and am told they do not even have my lens from manufacturer and “hopefully” they will have them by today (01/08/24). I call today to verify that they have them and to get a shipping update and am told they still do not have them to ship. At this point I demand to cancel my order and get a refund of the $398 that they processed on 12/18/23. I’m switched to a supervisor who states they “just got them” and they already have a tracking number so I cannot cancel the order but will have to wait to receive and return them…. A process that will take 3-4 weeks before my money will be credited. And NO, my lens are not custom. This company is ridiculous with their stupid rebate system that makes their contacts SEEM like a good value. They make claims about how quick their service is and how easy dealing with customer service is—— ALL LIES. I called a competitor and was assured my lens RX was available and could be at my door in 3 days with only a $16 increase in cost.

"I've ordered contacts before and the price was pretty much what I was paying at the eye doctor when it wasn't covered by insurance. But THIS PRICE...NO!! I had to pull punch the numbers into the calculator to figure out the taxes and fees. How the hell for 1 box each(softlens for astigmatism) is a total of $91.88...fine...but taxes and fees a lil over $47!?!? No!!!! Taxes should be less than $6.50...how the hell are the fees $40!?!? And get this...there is still a $9.95 shipping charge on top of that. Hell no!! Lens.com just lost me!!!"
"They offera great price after a rebate. The rebate is from the company not the manufacturer. Before you chek out, they have added Taxes and processing fees that are equal to or greater than the amount of the rebate, so you are paying for your own rebate! They hide all additional expences and costs until late in the checkout process. They are a total scam. Avoid at all costs. Total ripoff!!!!"
"I placed an order from Lens.com on 11/7/2023. After a week of not receiving the order I contacted their support team and found out that their system had changed the address I entered (using the USPS system) and had shipped to the wrong address - I entered the same address for both the billing and shipping address, however, conveniently the billing address was not changed. The first agent I talked collected my correct address and said the order would be reshipped. After another week of waiting I contacted customer support again who told me that the contacts were at their warehouse waiting to ship and I would receive an email confirmation when it shipped. I waited two more weeks and contacted them again - I was told the order had been delivered and had to re-explain that the order had been delivered to the incorrect address. Apparently no order had been re-shipped and the first two agents blatantly lied. I asked for a refund three times (at this point it has been 40 days since I submitted this order and I'm wearing glasses because I'm out of contacts) - they were unwilling to provide a refund or escalate the support conversation to someone that could help.
Such a frustrating experience from both the company and their support team. I will never buy from Lens.com again."

"Looking for a box of contacts to get my son through to his next eye appointment. When I get to the page, it says $48 for a box of contacts. When I add them to the cart, it changes to $78 since I didn't order a year's worth. Then they say it's $9.99 for shipping (which is a rip-off). When you get to the last page it should be $88 plus tax (about $5), so about $93. Inexplicably, the total price goes to $115. No explanation. They are just hoping you don't notice (because they hide it on the screen) that they have over $20 in "fees". I only found this out through a chat session. This is literally a bait and switch hoping you won't notice. I would never buy from dishonest people like these and I feel badly for the people that have gotten taken by them. Buy from Costco or Walmart if able. Straightforward and good prices."
