"This was my first dealing with Lenses For Hire, I can tell you it will NOT be my last. The service I received from them was First Class.

I hired wide angle lens to take with me on my trip to Orkney over New Year (29th Dec - 4th Jan). I ordered it in the early hours of 23rd Dec, it was dispatched that day and I received it by lunchtime on Xmas Eve (a full 4 days early due to the festive holidays). I therefore had the lens in my possession for 9 days (not including delivery day and return day) yet I was only charged for my requested 7 day hire. The fact that you have the lens for the full hire period is outstanding.

The packaging of the lens was very good, and all I had to do was remove a strip of duct tape to open the box. Inside, the lens was extremely well protected by foam panels, which were cutted to shape. Thought had obviously gone into the deisgn of this, and it made returning the lens a breeze. All I had to do was pop it back in, reseal the box with tape and stick on the return label. Simple!

The lens itself was also fantastic, it was in great condition, was protected by a professional grade filter and supplied with a copy of the manual (should you need to refer to it).

Overall, I cannot commend this company enough. The quality of their product, the low cost of the service (with NO deposit required in most cases) and the sheer ease of the transaction is just fantastic.
