"I see no other reason to go elsewhere to rent a lens or camera equipment should the need arise again.

I rented a 28-300mm Canon L series lens over a 3 day hire period (Fri, Sat, Sun). The lens arrived on the Thursday morning and was collected on the Monday afternoon so you do get your maximum 3 days and a bit more!

The lens arrived with full instructions as to how to return it and the customer service received was second to none.

This company has a great feel to it and I wish them every success for the future as I think they have this renting game all sorted out. Other companies websites seem to scare you away (with both terms and conditions and prices!) whereas LensesForHire.co.uk welcome you in with open arms with no a no fuss attitude.

"Firstly, I would like to thank Stewart for the excellent service he provided. I hired a 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L to test it out as I couldn't decide between this lens and the 70-200 f2.8L IS. The lens was brand new and robustly packaged and included instructions, carry case, lens hood and most sensibly, a Hoya UV filter for protection.

I really enjoyed using the lens and have decided on the 70-200mm f2.8L, but will hire the 100-400 again when needed, for airshows mainly.

The service is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. It is a hassle free experience and I really appreciated the fact that you don't need to leave a huge deposit as you do with other lens hire companies. I also liked that you have the lens for the complete hire period, collecting the day before and returning the day after. This makes a huge difference.

If do have one recommendation: I deposited the lens back at the postal facility in Maidenhead. I felt a little uneasy about leaving the box there without signature of some sort. Maybe a small sheet could be included in the box just for proof of drop off.
