In general, everything is just overall smooth from purchase to return! They even include the tape for when you ship it back! "I ordered my rentals to our local fedex office, not knowing that it had just closed down. As soon as I received the notice at night time, I emailed Lens Rentals. They contacted me the next day and over-nighted my gear to a close fedex location at a Walgreens and I was able to capture my client's video without rushing to Denver and taking out a loan to purchase the gear for this shoot.

I want to let you all know that even with the replacement Teradek unit, I wasn’t happy with broadcast performance. I almost wrote it off as “not ready for prime time.”
Because you all were so helpful with the extra days, I managed to figure out that one of my local Wi-Fi networks was the issue. When I got that resolved, BAM!
Therefore, the leniency will result in me renting 4 of these units for an Adobe event next month.
Tho I don’t discuss too much detail about my strategy online, I made a little promotional tweet for Lensrentals.

"The lens that I rented worked fantastic. The camera body, however, could not be used. The sensor was contaminated with spots, and even a hair. I inadvertently left one of my memory cards in the camera body when I returned it; so if you view the images on the card, you will see the spots and hair in the images from the shoot. Our photo re-toucher found the issue when they were going through the images of the first shoot and reported back to us that there was an issue. Since I used this camera body on back-to-back shoots, I will have to schedule a partial re-shoot of one of them to retake the images I shot with that camera body. If I would have had a sensor cleaning kit with me, I would have cleaned it myself. I have not had the issue when renting a camera body from you before so I did not bring a kit along with me; just supplies to clean the lenses. The idea is to setup multiple camera bodies with the desired lenses for the shoot so that we eliminate the possibility of contamination with the constant changing of lenses on a single camera body. Certainly not a novel idea, but nice to have when there is enough money built into the shoot. It won't effect me coming back to rent lenses; but I did have to go out and purchase an additional camera body to complete the shoot in the time allotted. I don't know what your internal QC procedure is to check the sensor, but I think it was missed on this particular rental."
