"I ordered an HTC One Developers' Edition phone from letstalk.com, and the order experience went smoothly (although they held the funds for too long before they actually sent the phone, and had to release the funds, and then re-debit them, which kind of messed up my balance and my paypal account for a few days). I received my phone promptly, but I have an issue with their packaging. It was packed with very little padding, so the product box was knocking around in the bigger shipping box; more importantly, due to the lack of padding, the box was really damaged, as there was nothing to withstand pressure on the outside of the box. by the time it was delivered, it had holes in it, and was badly compressed and smashed. Also, the tape had almost come off. my phone could have fallen out of the box in shipping, and really almost did.
The main reason I took the time to write this is the return process. My phone had some issues that I was not willing to live with, so I requested an RMA and began the return process. During the RMA request, I was informed that upon receipt of my phone, letstalk would take up to 48 hours before initiating the refund. This sounded normal, as I'm sure they have to inspect the phone, etc. What I didn't like right off the bat was there was no option for a faster return. UPS ground was the only option, and I really need the refund to buy a working phone. But back to the point: by the time they finally received my phone a week later, I never heard anything from letstalk. It has been several days now with NO communication from letstalk, and my order/RMA status doesn't indicate they've received the phone. I packed it 10X better than they packed it, and tracked it via UPS, so I know it arrived, and I'm confident it wasn't lost or damaged in shipping. I spent $10 in packing materials, just to make sure nothing happened to it during the return! Now I talked to some colleagues who returned their Dev edition HTC One units, and one of them has been waiting 15 days since they received it, and no refund. I am getting very worried, and very upset too. I wanted to get another developers edition, once they work out some manufacturing issues, but I have decided against it, as I will NEVER do business with letstalk again. Buying was easy, but if they don't treat customers well during returns, it seems they only care about making the sale. "

"I have a current account with Verizon. 3 different times I called and they needed the same information over again. It was very frustrating. There was one that was helpful but she then had to put me on hold to try something and that lasted 10 mins before I had to hang up because I was at work. Then, I finally just said to cancel it so I could get my money to go somewhere else and it was 4 days and I still didn't have money. Maybe you shouldn't actually take the money until it's approved or not."
"My purchase was canceled by T-mobile. When I called Let's Talk they gave me one reason, then changed to another reason. Both were wrong. I successfully ordered the same phone from Wire fly later.

"Delivery was fast, price was best I could find by over $50. My only issue was that the Galaxy Note 2 came unsealed by Samsung. I called Lets Talk & they indicated the carriers open them before distribution (mine is Verizon). I called Samsung, they said the same thing.
So I guess it is not Let's Talk's fault, but I thought it was worth mentioning to others who expect a manufacturer seal on electronics they purchase. Let's Talk rep was very friendly and even checked my phone id to make sure it was never activated, which made me feel a lot better. "
