"I ordered up a new HTC DNA as an upgrade on my Verizon plan. It showed up two days later with the sim card already installed and activated. E-mails were going to my junk mail box, I only figured it out the day it was out for delivery.
Since they activate it before shipping, your old phone will not work for 1 day, until the new phone is in hand. No big deal if you know what to expect.
