"If you are looking for a high quality powerful battery at an afordable price you are wasting your time looking anywhere else. I surfed all over and this was by far the best price and most powerful even with reasonable shipping.

My old battery never lasted over two hours and had got down to less than one. After the first charge I ran my Acer Travelmate over FIVE hours before it needed charging.

I think the site says it has Samsung cells but when I turned it on it said Sanyo. I don't care what kind it is, it kicks and we can play all our concert music (about two hours) without worry of running out of power. It does stick out the back of the computer about 3/4 of an inch but that is no problem for me.

I shopped quite a few other online stores for a Sony Vaio replacement battery. All the other sites used obviously form-entered item descriptions. Sites that actually did offer item-specific information said things like 'battery no fit with windows 7'. Huh? will it FIT my laptop? will it WORK with Windows 7?

Level8 is far above any battery retailer I've found. The item description was relevant, and in proper English, and customer support replied promptly to my emails. I'm now enjoying my fully-decoded battery that will work on any OS, including win7. Thank you!"
