"I have installed a number of lorex systems and all have delivered what the customers want and need. The support lines are great and sales department is very thorough and quick. There engineering department is always adding new features like the wireless range extenders and long cables for wired systems that need longer cables. There audio features are also very good, and the price cant be beat."

"I purchased the wireless camera security system and 19" monitor and for the money this works perfect for my home. I had done my research and put in quite a bit of time before purchasing anything. I eventually chose Lorex after reading about the great customer service. I had an issue a couple months ago with my DVR and they sent out a replacement immediately so I did not go without any recording time. Once I returned the old DVR they refunded the minimal deposit very quickly no questions asked. I have one camera on all four corners of the house and for my needs the night vision work great. In fact I can watch the neighbor’s cars since they park theirs outside. It takes a little tweaking to get all the cameras finely tuned and dialed in and in range, but once it is set you can forget it and just check on it now and then with no worries. I like being able to see who is at my door before answering it. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will use Lorex when it is time to upgrade. I just installed two cameras at first to just cover the front of the house and a few months later installed the back two to cover the back of the house. I also now have a couple of extra cameras just in case. Lorex is constantly updating their systems and I wanted to make sure I had two extra cameras so when one goes out I can easily replace it. I didn’t want to spend a fortune and like I said for my needs this system is perfect. My next upgrade in a year or so will be a hardwired 6-8 camera HD system. I got the wireless to test it out first and am quite pleased I didn’t need any range extenders. I love the ability to check things from my home computer or my monitor when needed. Great job Lorex! "

"I purchased the 16 channel security DVR with H.264 compression and remote viewing for use in monitoring the broodmares due to foal on my European Sport Horse breeding farm. It has been wonderfully helpful to be able to monitor all of the foaling stalls from the comfort of my desk in my office or on my cell phone or iPad in my home or wherever I happen to be.

Because most mares tend to foal in the wee hours of the morning and during the fairly chilly time in the early Spring, it is really nice not to have to be outside physically watching the mares. The mares are much happier as well, since with the infrared cameras, we can leave the lights off and instill more of a sense of peaceful privacy and safety to the mares during this critical time. We combine the camera surveillance with a foaling monitoring device on each of the mares' halters. When we get an alert of a mare beginning the labor process, we can easily check the mare via the surveillance camera without disturbing her until we know it is time to make an appearance.

The pictures are clear and are a true time and sleep safer during foaling season! We are expecting at least 12 foals to be born on the farm this coming Spring. I would definitely not want to ever have to go back to doing things the "old fashioned" way!

"I have used the Lorex Security Camera System for a number of years and find it great to view my business when I am thousands of miles away from home. It is a great reliable system that every home and business should have. I have used other security systems like the D-Link security system and find Lorex a more superior system hands down. The Lorex system is reasonably priced, reliable system and with a great support service. Don't forget the bonus there are No monthly fees whatsoever. Buy one you won't be disappointed. A happy satisfied customer!"

"1. Passes too much time to support the customers - in written form as trouble tickets and in live conversation by the phone.
2. Company does not ship to Europe in order to fulfill warranty conditions by sending a replacement, although it may do, as long as the customer pays his shipment expences.
3. THE REPLACEMENT ALSO HAS SLIGHT defect so far as the unit is set exactly point by point as the user's manual sugests (including UPS surge protection). Although it seem to work properly, but a strange small icon appears al the time on the monitor (in all modes - quad and separated).
Doesn't matter to me, won't be a Lorex customer anymore. Take care for your future marketing, cause you ask comparatively pretty much money for the quality that your product provides!
