"The pricing and the product are good. Camera's and NVR unit are easy to set up and get running.
Setting up to view remotely was a nightmare. Let me preface this by saying "I'm not a tech guy". They include a wizard program that's supposed to configure your modem for port forwarding. After three or 4 tries, I gave up. It took two separate times for tech support to figure out the issue and configure it for me.
But alas, I'm happy. Everything works as it should. Would I buy it again... Yes, and already have for my other business location. Only this time I'm calling tech support BEFORE racking my brain for three days."

"The documentation leaves a lot to be desired. Getting a living person on the phone has never happened. The remote playback seems to work in real time only and I have yet to be able to record or playback any vestiges of sound. The camera color and resolution is excellent but there is more than just photos to be desired and for a system that listed for 1,250.00 there seems to be several gaps in the software qualities. "

"Very easy to setup!!! For our application, the cables with power and video worked GREAT!!! There was no need to run electric (extension cords or new power receptacles) power to the cameras. Outstanding picture quality!!!
Also, the electrical power unit supplied with 4 separate outlets really saved space on the surge protector.
We watched 6 cameras at a time on a local HDMI monitor, on several iPhones and iPads at the same time.
The Lorex system was well worth the money we spent.
