No interest promotion is a scam

"Don't ever use Lowes promotional no interest for a year. They will try to scam you. They put their no interest items on the same credit card account as when you purchase other items that are not part of the promotion, then if it's the entire balance is not paid off in full they say you have to pay the interest. This happened to me twice in the first 3 months of a no interest promotion for year. They were trying to charge me interest on the appliances I bought that were not supposed to have interest on them for 12 months. This place is a joke. I used to work at Lowes and I will never go back to work here, nor will I buy ANYTHING from here again."

Online Order Issues

"I ordered approximately 18 wall plate/outlet covers and one bathroom vanity light in a single order online to be delivered to my home. I received notice several days later that my order had arrived at my local Lowe's and that I was to pick it up there. Unhappy that I had to drive there after asking for home delivery I went there only to find a portion of the order completed and that what was actually there didn't even match what their information says was there. I was to pick up 11 pieces and only 10 were actually there. I asked for a refund of the 11th piece and was told I couldn't get the refund that day and that I would have to come back tomorrow to get that. I then came home and called the contact number for online orders asking for a refund and they also refused to do so saying that the store had to do that and that I'd have to go back to the store to do that.
Next... 2-3 days later the vanity light came in to my home. Amazing that it was shipped properly to me as requested. That's the one plus in all of this.
Next... I get another notice that the rest of my order is in at my local Lowe's so I drive back over only to find that the order is incomplete yet again and that only 3 of the 7 pieces I was told was there were in the first envelop brought to me. Asking to be refunded for those and the item from my first drive over there I did, in fact, get the refund for that first item processed at that time. However, I was told that they could only cancel the remaining items left unfilled and that I wouldn't be charged. Apparently you're not charged for an online order until it is picked up. Or delivered, I guess. Frustrated that only 3 of the 7 pieces of my order that I was emailed had arrived ONLY had actually arrived I asked if there might be another package there for me with different pieces in it. Sure enough... in a totally separate package 2 more pieces were found. I left them there out of frustration as I was told I would have to now buy those again since they had already been cancelled. Odd that they could cancel the items that weren't in there in that trip but they couldn't cancel the one that wasn't in there the first trip saving me the hassle of having to come back to get refunded. Needless to say I did not purchase those just-cancelled pieces as this experience pretty much soured me on Lowe's.
I ordered online in one order and asked to have it shipped to my home. In the end I had to make 2 trips to Lowe's to find that each time what I was told was there for me wasn't entirely there. If I had not cancelled it would have been a third trip to get the remainder of the online order that was to be shipped to my house in the first place. The time and frustration was unbelievable and rest assured I won't be doing any more business there.

BAD Online Ordering Defective Return Experience

"I ordered 14 Jorgensen clamps online at Lowes. The shipment came from 2 stores. One box really poorly packed had damaged clamps from one store. I called to get a call tag and exchange. Evidently this isn't possible. I was told I had to return them to a store. That's one hour away for me so a 2 hr round trip...not going to happen. That store does not stock the clamps. Then I was told I could return them online through my Lowes account. That's not possible either. The only option is REORDER. I don't know why any company would do business online with no return procedure other that return it to a store that doesn't stock a replacement. This is the first problem I've had with a Lowes order online in 6 years but given the return and replace or even just return policies that do not exist for online ordering in 2020, I will not shop here again. Home Depot has been so great with problem online orders. I have no idea how Lowes can compete with no procedure in place to fix a problem."

Flooring failed in 45 days

"October 2019 I purchased Allen & Roth kitchen laminate flooring from Lowes. It was installed November 2019. In December the floor began swelling, buckling and coming up. There were no spills on the floor that were not cleaned up immediately. If this flooring is not suitable for a kitchen they should not have sold it to us. The installer measured our kitchen before the purchase, they knew it was being installed in a kitchen. We now have to purchase a new floor after only a couple of months. Lowes will not help us in any way.

Nightmare kitchen

"Do not buy your kitchen here. I would have given 0 stars if it were an option. The design was good professionally done and that's where it ended. Once they get your money you are forgotten. The install team did nothing. I became the project manager making all the calls coordinating the cabinet install company with the counter top company. They measured wrong so I get a call from Lowes that there was a up charge, mind you the only call I received in a month and for them wanting more money. I went in that night and paid the difference for the counter tops Lowes sat on it for nine days putting my countertops off for three more weeks. On top of that they forgot to order the scribe moulding which delayed the cabinets to be finished 3 weeks. What I have is a kitchen I've made 3 payments on and just cabinets screwed into the wall. Then I get a phone call from Lowes about a survey on how I like the kitchen not even knowing it's only half done. I go in to speak to install to have a manager call me still no call. It's like a 3 ring circus please do not use Lowes unless you like to do all the work yourself.

Madison, TN. Lousy store. Lousy customer service. Dead rodents around...

"Noticed two dead rats (at different times) around the store when we walked our dog near the area. That should have been a clue... Anyhow, we went in Sunday to purchase a fridge, range, and microwave. We spent a lot of time with the sales associate, Melissa, deciding on our items. Part of our decision was based on whether the items were in stock or not. We made our decision after we were told all items were in fact in stock, and went on our way. Our fridge was delivered the next day, but we ended up paying an additional $150 to have a plumber come in; we suspect (but have no solid proof) the delivery guys cracked the line during installation. They told us of a "leak" when the water is turned on. Again, no solid proof, but... Our microwave was installed today without issues, but when we called to inquire about delivery of the stove, we were transferred, re-transferred, put on hold for 10-15 minute stretches, etc., only to find out the range was in fact NOT in stock. Melissa either 1). Out and out lied about it being in stock, or 2). Was too stupid to notice it wasn't in stock, or 3). Out and out lied about it being in stock. We finally complained to the store manager, but I doubt anything will be addressed. Patronize this particular Lowe's at your own discretion/risk. "

No Service. No response. No interaction. Stick with Depot!

"Feel sorry for the techs who, hopefully will, deliver and set up this washer and dryer. This particular time and in the past, we've had to call Lowe's numerous times to make sure that we were on the delivery schedule based on my online purchase. Called 800 number first. Girl couldn't have been any nicer and kept apologizing for being unable to reach the delivery department at Lowes in Hendersonville,, NC. Finally we were disconnected. I called the Lowes in Hendersonville directly and connected to somebody who said "oh looks like between 2 and 4 today" We'll call when we're on our way. Will NEVER return to this store again. I don't know about all other Lowes but what gives!!!!"

Do not purchase and install with Lowe's - not worth your time or $

"We thought we would be "safe" going with reputable big box to purchase and install a kitchen backsplash, $1200, we were wrong. After paying full amount on a Saturday, we were told our installation would be on Tuesday. We received a "prepare for installation email", we prepared our kitchen, we made arrangements with our employers, we waited on Tuesday =no show. When we called Lowe's, we were told we were to be contacted by 3rd party installer, we were not, but with apologies, transferred to 3rd party and rescheduled for Friday. Again, prepared kitchen for install, made arrangements with our employers, scheduled 8-11:00 = no show AGAIN. Then after 2nd no show, we received a call saying that installer didn't find all products needed for install and needed to reschedule. We called back, 6 times, getting transferred and transferred again with Lowe's blaming installer, installer blaming Lowe's, being on hold for 13 minutes, receiving 2 emails and 2 voice mails asking how our installation went (a survey received after Tuesday no show)- Then they asked us to reschedule for a 3rd time. After this experience we had no confidence in Lowe's and no confidence in 3rd party, we insisted on being refunded for the $1200 and additional $35 estimate fee. We are waiting for refund. This was a mess. The initial purchase, was pleasant, but neither Lowe's or installer followed through with our $1200 purchase of kitchen backsplash. We will buy somewhere else, find installers somewhere else. This was such a waste of time, at least 4 hours on the phone trying to resolve issues and 2 full days off of work. Buying from a national company does not ensure competence, customer service, or work completed with full payment before services rendered."

Why?

"So normally when an associate walks up and asks if you need help that would imply that employee knows something about the area he is working in, right? Well he walks asks if we need help we tell him what we are looking for dude turns around walks away and down the next isle where he stops and stares at the shelves until this other lady walks up and asks him for help and he turns to help her like we were a distant memory. Needless to say we looked for about 20 minutes to find what we were looking for! Grr"

Order hadnt arrived

"I ordered the samsung kitchen bundle package on December 1, 2019. Was told nothing was on back order and that they could deliver my appliances on the 18th. I thought 3 weeks out seemed far but said thats fine. The 18th came and I had all my other appliances sold. Pulled them out ready to put new in and buyers come get the old. Waited for the phone call all morning that i was supposed to get. Finally I called and was told trucks are still loading they would call me when leaving the store. This was at 10am. 11:30am I finally recieve a call that only my fridge had come in and stove dishwasher and microwave had not. They were contacting company to see when would be there. So they brought me my fridge and door was scratched. I waited to days never heard nothing I go back to store and ask if they heard anything they tell me no. While I was there she checks email and says yes they replied your order should be here next monday and sets me up for tuesday delivery. Tuesday i get a call order didnt come in should be here thursday. Thursday comes nothing. So long story short here it is 2 weeks apast the delivery date and I still dont have my other 3 appliances. I am highly ****. And when they do finally come in me and the manager will be having a talk. They will be taking some money off of my purchase this is ridiculous."

Appliance delivery

"Ordered 4 appliances for kitchen. Delivery guys rude and angry. Left dishwasher in box in livingroom. Refrigerator and stove loaded with plastics, tapes and styrofoam . One delivery guy told me products would be damaged in a fit of anger. He wad correct. Stove has huge dent. They did not make sure things worked like Lowe's website promises. On way out they threw heavy water hookups on flat stove top. Do not get appliances delivered by Lowe's. "

Beware of getting anything delivered from West Hazleton PA store

"
If you get this store to deliver anything you will be making a big mistake. They subcontract deliveries to third party fly by night trucking outfits who will trash your property and Lowe's management will treat you disrespectfully, do absolutely nothing to help, and give you the runaround to boot. They have a phone number they give you to call and all you get is a circle **** when you call it and no one ever calls you back. What's worse they know no one will get back to you and expect you to just give up.

I pledge I will never use the Lowe’s website ever again!

"During the Thanksgiving Black Friday’s Sale, I order on the Lowe’s Website a General Electric, 4 Elements 5-cu ft Freestanding Black Electric Range on Sale for $389. When I placed the order I paid an extra $20.00 for them to haul my old stove back. On my order confirmation, it stated a Delivery Date of Saturday, December 7, 2019, between 8:00 am and 08:00 pm. Since I placed the order on November 23, 2019, I thought a two-week delivery was fine. On Friday, December 6, 2019, I received an email for Lowes saying that “Your Delivery Is Scheduled for December 7, between 8:00 am and 08:00 pm”
So early on Saturday, December 7th I unplugged my old Stove and got it ready for pickup by 8:00 am. I waited until 5:00 pm and when I called to confirm that we were going to receive the new stove on that day, the operator asks me where did I Place my order, I told her online and she immediately transfer the call to her Manager (“Erik”) he told me he was the manager of the Lowes store near me and that the truck was still delivering, I asked to confirmed if my order was on the truck and he asked me for my information and told me that it was not.
I then asked why? He told me that the online website does not confirm that they have the item when they send me the email and that he did not have that model in stock. I asked when will I get my stove and he told me when General Electric sends us more inventory and that could take up three months, he suggested for me to cancel the order and go to the store to get something they had in stock.
I canceled the order and went to Lowe’s and bought the only stove that fit my needs and I had to pay more than 100 dollars more for a stove with fewer features than the one I wanted.
Please think twice before you use the Lowe’s Website, they don’t have a clue of what they have in their inventory, How to treat customers, or how the delivery process should work.
I pledge I will never use the Lowe’s website ever again!

Slower than a turtle crossing the rod

"Have recently placed two online in store pickup orders for the Lowes in Southaven MS. The first order took a while but understandable in that there was one special item ordered. The order had two poor service problems. First when I would try to call the store to get an update on the items the store personnel would keep bumping my call back to the menu system, 5 times. The second problem was when the order was ready for pickup and I arrived at the store the clerks could not find my items. I waited a little over an hour for the clerk to assemble all 34 items. I am still waiting for the store to notify me that they have filled my second order. A 5 pail on pale of paint and drywall mud. This stuff is in stock. I know because after waiting two days I went to the store and purchased in person off the shelf. I will now wait for the store to get around to filling the online order and then cancel it. My comment to Lowe's management team is, if you want to compete with the online order giants then act like one and have reasonable turn around on filling orders."

LOW'S is awful, horrible service, very very very very.... bad.

"LOW'S is awful, horrible service, very very very very.... bad.
I ordered quartz countertop from lows, first, the communication was the worst that I have ever experienced. they supposed to send in plumbers in on Friday to disconnect plumbing, October 4th, 2019, between 10 to 12 am pacific time, however, the plumber never showed up, the countertop installer never showed up and they never told me that the schedule has been changed..I called Low;s store but their phone service kept on putting me on music hold for two hours finally, I gave up calling and went to the store to talk to the manager, they promised to send in the plumber on and countertop on Monday Oct, 7, 2019, again they did not show up and, so I went back to the store, this time, they told me the countertop installer and plumber will start working on my kitchen on Tuesday, Oct 8, 2019. they showed up and disconnected the plumbing and countertop were installed, however, they did not install the backsplash when I objected, they said, they will install it on Friday, Oct 18, 2019. finally, they came in and installed the backsplash but they left out the drywall behind the range exposed and they did not install the backsplash behind the range when I objected the contractor did not speak English and did not understand what I was saying, he told me to call Low;s, when I called Low's, they said behind the range is not mentioned in the contract but the backspalsh for the whole kitchen is mentioned, so they refused to complete the back1splash. I escalated the issue to head office with claim number 1-316-379-33044, after almost two months they have not installed the backsplash behind the range and I am going back and forth with Low's, customer service said, she called the store but manager was not available. so this LOW'S service is awful, please don't waste your money with Low's, their store employees don't know about their products and when you ask them a question, they take a hostile approach and make you frustrated.
