"MTV had a promotion that gave a $10 discount without any limitations of what had to be purchased. Seeing as this promotion was astounding and a very beneficial promotion for the consumers, I decided to make multiple purchases using this promotion. If MTV had a problem with this, then they could have had better limitations and a better marketing team to limit the use of this discount. To sum up this complaint, which is what it is, 6 other of my orders were canceled for no apparent reason, and seeing as this promotion had no limitations, they had no reason to cancel them."
"As a promotion they advertised a $10 off anything coupon (FREEMONEY) if you used Paypal.
I ordered Harry Potter for 13.25 Shipped using this coupon code. It wasn't even free, and they cancelled my order. NO REASON GIVEN! Scammers and deadbeats. Blacklisted that site, and MTV on Cable.
Just plain terrible business practices, apparently it was to increase hits to their website and get more advertising. Class action lawsuit coming your way, better look for another job."

I placed an order for several items, half of which were on backorder (Beavis and Butthead DVD's). I thought they might eventually just cancel the order, but they did come through in the end.
I placed the order on 11/23/2006.
About half of the items (T-shirts and DVD's) shipped out Nov 25-27, 2006.
The rest of the items (Beavis and Butthead DVD's) shipped out on Dec 6-12, 2006.
The prices were unbeatable too."
"A huge selection of products but the search function isn't that great. The MTV stuff is not available anywhere else and some of their dvds have bonus footage that you can't buy with dvds in stores. Overall, I ordered a ton of stuff, only paid $2 shipping and got it two days later - packed nicely. The shipping method did not let me track the shipment but their customer was great when I called about returning one item. I would recommend the store."
"I ordered this Beavis and Butthead DVD, and it's been about 3 weeks now and I never received it. I got charged for it, so I had to contact my bank to file a dispute. I tried tracking the order, but when I logged into your site, it said I had no orders placed. Hmm...that's funny. I have no orders placed, but yet my bank account got charged $30 for it. You guys suck. You are not professional. There is not a customer service number to call. I have to send emails which take about 5 days to be answered and then still, nothing is solved. You have the worst customer service out of anyplace I bought things from. I will be sure to tell anyone, and everyone that I can, not to shop through you guys."
"On 9/26/04 I purchased the “Mr. Show 1st and 2nd Seasons” DVD from the MTV online shop as a birthday gift for my brother. Later that day I received an MTV e-mail thanking me for my order. The e-mails that came over the next several days set the course for the worst online shopping experience I have ever had.

"Ordered an Xbox Live kit on the 14th. It showed as "In Stock: Usually ships within 24-48 hours". 48 hours later I inquired by e-mail as to why it still showed up as processing and was informed that the item was on backorder. It still shows as in stock on the website. I'm hoping they take care of this or at least allow me to cancel since it was supposed to be a Xmas gift. I doubt I will get satisfaction based on what I've seen so far but I will update if I do.
Update: This place is terrible. I tried to cancel the order today and as soon as I hit cancel the order status changed to shipped. The order now has a tracking number but the tracking number only shows "recieved billing information". Either they are completely swamped or this could very well be the worst Internet retailer ever. It's certainly the worst I have experienced in a while. Never again for me. "
