I got the item when expected. It shipped within 48 hours. When I spoke to CS, they were nice and professional. They STILL have more ipads and I'm amazed that others haven't bought it out, but I suppose it's the "too good to be true" syndrome. In THIS case, the price is the same as from Apple, and you will absolutely receive it. It's true. "

"I recently ordered a macbook air. At first everything was fine, I received my confirmation email, done or so I throught. The next day I got voice mail asking me to call back, which I did, left a v/m, but no returned call. I return from a week vacation to follow up on my order only to be told my order was cancelled. So the rep I was speaking w/ assures me they can fix this and will 2 day mail my mac. A day later, I called to inquire about a tracking # only to be told my order never processed and I had to call back the following days as it was after hours. It's now the following day and they agreed to overnight the mac, but no saturday delivery. On top of that since i'm shipping the mac to my apartment vs my credit card billing address I have to call from a landline to confirm my order or they can't process. (SERIOUSLY?!?) After going back and forth with their manager, they agreed that I can send an email from a non-free email, so I send one from my work. Apparently i'm supposed to call back 20 minutes later to see if they can now process my order. I've never had to go through so much to order a laptop. Next time i'm going to pay the extra $50 and go through Amazon!!!"
"I ordered an item from them that was a great deal. They sent me an email sating it was a pricing error, but they would honor i anyway. Normally most companies just cancel you right away. Not MacConnection. They drag you along stating that it was on order for a two months before they decided they didn't want to honor the pricew and then cancelled my order and refunded me."
"Horrible cs. I called macconnection to order a touchpad. Was on hold for 35 mins when their system simply dropped my call. I logged on and ordered online. Called my cousin who was still on hold. While talking to him, the cs rep came on the phone and took his order. She told me that I was all set with my online order. His order shipped, my order got cancelled. No notification for days. I ended up calling to check and they told me then. No concern. This is the last time I ever shop with them."

"Ordered an iPad from macconnection.com in late April when the wait time was supposed to be 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks came and no iPad. I emailed customer services asking when I would receive my item and they pushed the shipment date to "the end of May" with no more explanation other than it was Apple's fault for not shipping more iPads to them. One would think that the authorized Apple resellers' timeline for delivery would be similar to Apple's, but the delay on shipments from the Apple store is around 1-2 weeks for iPads and has been for the last month. To echo what some others have said here, you might save some cash on the shipping/taxes, but you'll get a much better experience by going straight to the apple store rather than having to deal with this slow, unresponsive rseller."
"I would caution anyone from buying from MacConnection. I ordered an iPod touch and paid for overnight delivery. Box was sealed when I received it, I opened it and it was filled with packing materials and a catalog. There customer care told me that they have verified the iPod was in the box when it shipped (how? magic?) and that I have to deal with this with my credit card and UPS. Horrible attitude, horrible customer service. Poor things must feel the pressure from Amazon and other, better online sellers."
"Although one of my friends is having a horrible experience with her Ipad2's shipment, I've personally had received pretty good service from MacConnection.
I highly recommend using their Live Chat to speak with a customer service representative, they were really helpful with my purchase! I placed an initial order for 1 Ipad2 with a cover and I was told it would be shipped in about two weeks (April 1st) due to their backorder. Before it was April 1st, I received an email stating that my order is being processed and shipped! I was really happy and surprised!
I decided to order 2 more.
MacConnection honestly has the rudest ladies on the phones. I just honestly dislike speaking with them. When I called in to verify about my first order, the lady actually hung up on me just because I wasn't going to be placing an order with her.
My second order was actually placed over their Live Chat feature. I believe this was possible because I already had an order with them so they could just add to my order.
The Live Chat staff told me my order was going to be out immediately the following day! I couldn't believe him because it just sounded too good to be true.
He was not lying! I received my tracking number immediately the next morning I woke up!
All in all, I had a great experience at Macconnection, except with the rude ladies on the phone, avoid them at all cost."
