"Like the guy below me I saw an obvious price mistake by Macy's, where a $150 item was mispriced for $4.97.
I guess people can't beleive Macy's refuses to honor obvious huge price mistakes!
If someone at macy's mistypes a number and leaves off a zero, adn this gets noticed by websites that look for price mistakes, and Macy's gets 10,000 orders for the item, we should all cry like babies saying they need to deliver it at that price no matter how much a beating they take."
"This store is horrible... they will price something low on their Amazon store then cancel your order when they decide that they priced it too low..."
"Macys online (through Amazon.com) gave me the bait and switch. I purchased a product "on sale" for 4.97 and they charged my CC and told me the item was going to ship. The next day I get an email from them with a refund because they claim the item I ordered is out of stock... when I called their service number to complain, they told me that the item was in fact in stock and I could buy as many as I like for $24.99 - same item, much higher price.
Macys.com Customer Service was rude & did not help me. I'm done with them forever because of the way I was treated on the phone."
"Awful experience. First, I had activated my Macy's card at the beginning of the year the same day I'd received it.
Last week I had to send a gift to someone really special and decided to use Macy's services because they advertise the options of gift wrapping and Express Overnight. I really needed that gift to get there in time. When I tried to place the order, their online service kept rejecting my Macy's card and prompting me to use another card. Finally I called their customer services and after about half an hour of arguing with them it was their "error" and my card was not activated the first time I'd called them! Well, I finally placed my order and after paying $$$ for the gift/services, my important Gift did not arrive at all, and, it is still untraceable today... I complained to them and they mentioned that it was just an "error" and to wait from 7-10 days for my gift's delivery . . . They didn't even send my gift using priority mail!
Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. Cannot be trusted at all. Not recommended!
Update: After contacting their customer services once more they disregarded and ignored my concerns about the possibily of a third error of not gift-wrapping my package and sending the item price in an invoice to the gift recipient. They just casually apologized and stated that I will have to wait up to two billing cycles (2 months) for the shipping credit adjustment to be applied to my account. Also stated that my recipient needed to allow up to 20 days to receive the gift package.
Macy's has the worse customer service that I had ever experienced and their services were extremely unreliable and unprofessional.
Update: I contacted another customer service representative with the same results. No one answered the important questions that I asked. I told them to cancel the order immediately due to the facts that Macy's mislead me as a customer into services that they could not provide to me by advertising their Express Overnight service at their website with no restriction warnings. I explained that the only reason I agreed to the purchase of the gift item was with the Express Overnight service and not without it.
No one from Macy's contacted me at all with the information that the Express Overnight service was unavailable for my gift, or asked me if I wanted to use another shipping options either. They just took my money and did as they pleased.
They refused to cancel the order with the excuse that it was already shipped.
I've never dealt with people like this before. Extremely unprofessional, unethical business practices and no concern at all for their customers. Winner of the Worst Place To Buy From.
Beware: NOT RECOMMENDED!

"Items were backordered for 3 months. Any sale or clearance items were no longer available. Very outdated website."
"Where to begin!!! First I ordered a ring for valentines day for the wife. The first order was cancelled because of an error in the billing address, my fault which I corrected quickly. Called back with update info and was told it was out of stock. Talked to manager who said it was in stock but she would have to reorder the next morning. She reordered and promised to upgrade to overnight ship but a few days later received email that it is out of stock. So I called back and found out that the manager had ordered the wrong ring and that the one that I originally ordered is in stock, by now it is 2 days past V-Day. After long drawn out arguement he finally decides to send the right ring with the overnight shipping and knocks 10% off. Yet another lie because even though all of the paperwork says overnight the dumb shmucks sent it 2 day. I was charged the right price though but the ring ended up having some slight damage, but after all of the trouble I had there
was no way in hell I was going to try to RMA it back... STAY AS FAR AWAY
AS POSSIBLE....
