"Several times I've ordered a full set of six cartridges for my Epson color printer, the last time for a total cost of a little over $10. So far I've had no problems with the cartridges. One minor issue is that the email notification they send has minimal info, and when I try to print the online copy of the invoice, I get a blank page; so I copy the online info and paste it into the emailed invoice, which comes immediately.

I don't know if the reason some customers have had problems with this company is because some printers handle third-party inks better than other printers. At any rate, I'll continue to buy from them until I have a problem."

"Ordered Epson T069120,220,320,420 print cartridges. Most did not work properly (unable to read copies) and ink leaked in many. When I called customer services the person replied to my request to know if they had maybe had problems with these cartridges that I must be doing something wrong and that these are one of their biggest sellers, thousands a day. He says that I can return them AT MY COST! and receive a refund.

Will not purchase from them again even if i do receive working cart as the person answering the phone was rude.

"MegatonerS service dept is a joke. They do not know how to read-or comprehend- the written word! Someone there thinks cartridge #18L0042 and 18C0781 are identical-and they refuse to send me 18C0781, the cartridge my printer utilizes.

"I would not recomend megatoners to anyone. I orderd 7 cartridges and when I got them I put them into my printer. My Printer did not work. The customer service dept. is very bad. I emailed and told them the problem I was having and all they could tell me was turn off printer and reinstall. I did try this and when I took the cartridges out they leaked all over my furniture. I emailed again and told them I wanted a refund and have not heard a thing. I think I will turn them over to the BBB. "

"I have ordered hundreds of cartridges from MegaToners.com in the past 8 or so years with little or no problem. However, This past order was horrible. The shipping took almost two weeks. The print quality of the cartridges is horrible. I have to keep forcing head cleanings just to get the ink to print and when it finally does, there are streaks, blurry spots, fades, etc. The head cleanings are draining my ink like crazy. I have wasted so much time, money, and ink on this order, it is unbelievable. THE QUALITY IS HORRIBLE. The support emails go unanswered. STAY CLEAR OF MEGATONERS IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY."

"I have ordered hundreds of Canon-compatible and some Epson-compatible ink cartridges from MegaToners over the last 6 years and have never had a serious problem with either the products they sell or their service.

Have I occasionally received a bad cartridge? You bet -- maybe 1 in 100 is unusable, but I simply throw those away and write it off as the cost of buying generic ink. (I got a bad Canon cartridge recently that came with a brand new iP4500 so even the OEM cartridges have problems sometimes.) Also, do I wish MegaToners checkout process would show exactly what I will be charged including shipping? Heck yes, but they have always charged a reasonable amount so I don't worry about it anymore.

I have read some online reviews that read like horror stories about MegaToners customer service but my one experience with contacting them about an order that arrived short a couple of cartridges turned out just fine. They replied to my email the same day (with an apology) and the missing cartridges arrived in the mail 3 days later.

Over the years I have ordered ink from several other online dealers but I keep coming back to MegaToners because they offer the best “bang for the buck” in my opinion.

"I'm quite surprised this thing is still in business (if you can call it that?). Cartridges that are marked wrong, not like the website represents them, no yellow in several 3-color cartridges (when I clean to try to get some yellow going, that runs out the black cartridge), odd-shaped unusual cartridges, AND reduced from 18ml contents to 12ml of ink content. Their 1-800 phone only has a message telling you to email them. Their "Customer non-Service" is plainly a sarcastic a$$hole who is no help - just lies and insults. And it goes on and on and on. A bunch of useless rats."

They sent another email informing me of the shipping cost (which is not available on their site). I never heard from them again. I emailed and got no response. At least they did not charge my card. "Ordered Canon Compatible BCI-6M, BCI-6C, BCI-6Y and BCI-3ebk. Quality was anomalously poor. Amount of ink varied dramatically between cartridges, some were 1/2 empty and two leaked in packages. "Ordered ink, was billed for shipping not included on invoice. Ink arrived inserted 1st cartridge, it wouldn't work, inserted second cartridge also wouldn't work. Decided to weigh on digital scale. Compared to new ink cartridge bought from Wal-Mart all ink cartridges sent to me by Mega Toners were empty. Informed Mega toners of problem, they instructed me to return cartridges for replacement. They recieved them on 06-02-08, I have yet to recieve a replacement order. Very disapointed will not order again. I am contacting my bank to see if anything can be done on their end."
