"I bought some memory and it didn't work so I returned it. It's been over a week and still no refund. Their customer service is terrible."
"Shopper be wary if you have to return an item and anticipate a credit refund. I returned an item of memory via UPS, item received by Memoryx on 05/14/2010. I requested info on refund twice via email and was told it was being processed. Thirty-four days after returning the item, no refund. Last email not answered!!"
"Still Waiting! They were fine until there was a problem. Bad chip, failed memtest86. Had me jump through hoops to get an RMA. Got RMA on 4-29, they received bad chip on 5-3, still have not received credit (now 5-18) or any communication from them."
"Order was for Hynix memory, MemoryTen shipped Samsung memory WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME FIRST. Had to return memory and still awaiting for my refund. Never again MemoryTen."
"One of the few companies I’ll not be dealing with again! Good communication, but terrible management and business!
My purchase was two pairs of “Micron” PC 3200 DIMM. They sent me “Hynix” instead! Which though is not a bad brand, was not what I ordered, and it had a conflict with my motherboard. I had to return them back, which cost me a pretty penny cause I live on the other side of the planet! They claimed to have sent me replacements through First Class Mail, instead of FedEx; like I first paid for, but the replacements never arrived! They sent me another replacement and made me pay a second time for FedEx shipping! The replacements did arrive, but they were not “Micron” as well! In fact, there were neither brand nor codes printed on the chips! For the first time in my whole life, I see non branded and non coded blank memory dims! However, to be perfectly honest, they seem to have worked just fine!
This whole transaction, from first wrong shipment, to the final received replacements took over five months! Through countless polite emails! Until I finally threatened to sue them through my American sister if they did not comply, until they finally moved their butts and sent me the final replacements, which were also not what I ordered, but worked just fine.
The negative points were:
1- If I order “Micron” I expect “Micron”! You do not go to a store, buy a “Panasonic” TV and the store sends you a “SONY” instead!
2- First shipment was sent through FedEx, then replacements should be sent through FedEx as well! It’s not my fault that you screwed up with the brand names! So you pay for your mistakes not the customer!
3- You do not put the customer on hold for several months till you send him his replacements!
4- You do not replace something not wanted by your customer, with another thing that is not waned by your customer! You send him what he is paying for!
Communication was polite though; at least you get ripped off with class! ;-)

"RESELLER: at 4/8/08 1:02 PM, on this very page you said and I quote: "Please note that WeLoveMacs is a completely separate company from MemoryTen,Inc. We are MemoryTen,Inc. not WeLoveMacs. "
Interestingly enough you share the same street address and even the same EMAIL ADDRESS!

"I recently ordered two 1GB sticks of memory for a Gateway 556GE desktop computer. This was my second order from MemoryTen and both times the memory worked perfectly. I had previously ordered memory from Gateway that crashed my computer and caused a boot problem that took four days to fix.
It has been a real pleasure to deal with MemoryTen. For each delivery the product arrived very quickly and was packaged very nicely in a plastic casing, far superior to the Gateway packaging.
I would highly recommend MemoryTen and would readily do business with them in the future."
"Very easy to find the correct memory on their Web site. Order was processed quickly and arrived in a reasonable time (for cross-country UPS Ground shipping) at a reasonable cost. Order status updates were top rate! Memory arrived in perfect condition and worked exactly as described."
"Ordered some memory for my Apple Mac Pro (2009). I couldnt find a better price online than Memoryten. First, I was hesitant to place the order as the price was cheap compared to other online stores thinking that I might be cheated with 3rd party item. To my surprise, I received the order promptly, and they had good sales team who were able to identify what kind of memory I need and also gave me a discount off the webprice when I bought 4pcs...Thanks MemoryTen"
" ordered a Luxio 64 GB flash drive on Feb 23.rd for 139.98 USD + 15 USD shipping to Hong Kong.
On Mar 4.th I contacted MemoryTen because the order was still being 'verified' (obviously the product was not in stock).
A same day reply apologized the delay with it was an international order (!!!!) but assured me that it was ready to be shipped same day.
Some days later, the product was actually shipped.
I received the shipment on Mar 23.rd, but inside the box was a Transcend flash drive in stead of the ordered Super Talent drive.
The product page on MemoryTen web site is quite good and comprehensive - lots of information:
- A picture of the drive
- Super Talents product number.
- The dimensions
- Available Colors
- Manufacturer information
- Tech information
- Compatibility
- Note on a supplied leather case
all very specific to the Super Talent Luxio drive (only).
But as MemoryTen didn't have the Super Talent drive in stock, they updated the product page by adding :
'or Transcend depends on the stock availability' - (partly hidden between al the other information which still is 100 % Super Talent specific).
And so they shipped the Transcend.
The Transcend drive is a 'value' product (Transcend's own words), where as The Super Talent product is a high end product, so I was not happy with the replacement. And Transcend I can buy a lot cheaper here in Hong Kong, where as the Super Talent drive is not available here.
I contacted MemoryTen Customer Support a few times, but all they offered me was to return the product at my cost. Then they would refund the 139.98 USD but not the shipping cost. But been cheated once already, I decided not to take the risk of being cheated again. I will try to sell the Transcend product myself.
We mailed back and forth a few times, but without any luck. And when MemoryTen assigned a new person to handle the case, and I had to repeat everything again, I gave up.
IMHO: No doubt, I have been scammed by MemoryTen. My advise: DON’T USE THEM - THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

"I was able to find the exact match pair 512 ddr sodimm ram for my Sony Vaio laptop. It was only 19.98! plus only one dollar for shipping. This was the best upgrade ever! This was half the price of the competition. I ordered it Thursday night, they shipped it out on Friday, and I got it Monday (CA to NJ). Thanks Memory Ten! "
"Excellent Selections, and Selection Helper. Good cross referenced memory with complete info. Excellent service - you talk to real people. I have been doing business with Memoryx for years and I keep coming back. Thought I'd stop by and drop a note for others.
I am a professional engineer. I am not affiliated with MemoryX. "
"WeLoveMacs finally comes clean and removes the BBB logo from their webssite!
I have been trying for almost two years to resolve a problem with WeLoveMacs (this started in 2006).
I bought and was invoiced for a new power adapter for a PowerBook. They sent a scratched-up used/reconditioned unit.
I chose not to make a fuss, but when it failed within the first two months, WeLoveMacs refused a refund because the order was more than 14 days old.
They refused to acknowledge that it was not new, even though it shipped with some funky twoprong cable instead of the stock white Apple cable.
They also refused to acknowledge that Apple sells new gear with a one year warranty.
And they refused to refund my money.
Last week I succeeded in getting the BBB to demand that WeLoveMacs remove the BBB logo from their website. WeLoveMacs has been displaying it for years without ever being accredited or affiliated.
Yahoo! SHopping is finally getting into the act, and I have reached out to Consumer Affairs in California.
All I wanted was a refund for a bait-and-switch move. Now WeLoveMacs is in a heap of trouble.
Crime never pays."
"They sent wrong shipment two times. I had ordered 2x1GB ECC PC3200 for my dell poweredge 1800 server. The servers were scheduled to be upgraded and i wanted them to bring them up ASAP. I ordered the RAM and the shipment was for wrong part I got PC4200. Poor customer support routed me to the technical support to whom i cannot talk; just mail. They told me to ship the part back at my cost and then they will send the replacement to me. I told them to charge the card again and send me the advance replacement along with shipping label for returning the earlier wrong part. They charged the card; i again got the shipment which was again for the wrong part i got PC4200 instead of PC3200 also i did not get the shipping label which they were supposed to send. So really a bad experience and would not suggest anyone to use them.
Regards,
Sameer.
