"The site offes the best prices on Twinmos memories bar-none. I went with the (then much cheaper) Twinmos with twinmos chips that the site claimed are simply re-labelled from Winbond. After 6 weeks, I still have not figured out if the claim is false, but I do know (after extremely careful, thorough testing) that the memory cannot run at rated speed (CL2.5 at 200Mhz) w/o increasing voltage by a lot. Got close to CL2.5 195mhz but need 2.9V.
I will give the shop the benefit of the doubt (plus there is really no PC3200 JEDEC std yet) and believe this is still a decent site for memories. Could be the limit of my mb (did do vdd mod to prove that it is not). But it is safe for me to say that I would not buy the twinmos/twinmos again.
In fact I am still thinking about buying Twinmos/Windbond from them now the price is down to 62 for 256mb. Just don't know how good the Winbond performs these days (certain generations of Samsung are much better than others, wonder if this applised to Windbond too).

"Very pleased. I ordered memory with unusual compatibility issue, but what I received would not work in my system. MemoryX paid return and sent other modules with no customer support hassle. Good price, good service. This was my second order, and will use them again soon."
"ordered 2 sticks of memory. Got an e-mail with order conformation. UPS e-mail with tracking number. Memory arrived on expected delivery date."
"Bought two TwinMOS 256mb pc3200 w/ Winbond chips for $76 each. I received one order confirmation email, but never got a shipping confirmation email. I tried contacting them to see what was the status of my order and my email was never returned. Nonetheless, I received my product a week later and am quite statisfied with it. "
"Ordered 2 sticks of Twinmos/Winbond PC3200 on Friday after the shipping cutoff. Memory was still sent on Friday and I had it in my hands Tuesday. They have the best memory at the best price. I would have paid more for Corsair PC3500 with the exact same chips and performance. Highly recommended. Just don't try to save a few bucks and order the Twinmos with the Twinmos chips. You might get extreme performance or you might not."
"Memory was ordered, memory was delivered. I couldnt be happier. I got email confirmation and tracking number."
"I ordered (12) 128 mb ram chips for two Mac (9600 models)
128mb, 5V, 60ns 4K Buffered, EDO, 168pin Dimm which cost me $426.07. What was sent to me was the FPM version. When I called MemoryX to find out why I was given the FPM instead of the EDO ram, I was told that they were the same ram. Now, if I had installed the FPM ram with my exsisting EDO ram I would of had serious problems. They are not the same. Another fact is that both types of ram have the same part number. In addition to that no one bothered to confirm that the order was correct before it was shipped out. Now, not only did I have to pay for the initial shipping, but I paid for the return shipping so that I could get the correct one sent back to me. I just got off the phone with their customer service and found out that the fedex package was signed for yesterday and they can't find the package. The comments made by their memory division makes one believe that they really don't know what they are doing. I've request a full purchase refund and will never use them again, considering that this was my first experience with them."
"Purchased 2 x 256 mb TwinMos ddr pc3200. I recieved a call advising me that the ram with Twinmos chips was unavailable but could be substituted with one with winbond chips. My my, these are the cat's pajamas! The fact that they called me was almost unheard of in ecommerce. When I called there was always someone helpful to answer the phone. Couldn't be happier!"
"Memory X helped me recover items purchased on their web site with my stolen card information."
"Very good service. I will tell my friends to shop here."
"Best price available for an obscure memory part for an old printer. They had it in stock and shipped it immediately. I had it in my hands 3 days later. I am very pleased."
"Although their Reseller Rating is kind of bad, I decided to buy some TwinMOS PC3200 memory from MemoryX since they were cheaper than another store that was selling the exact memory. The ordered was filled and shipped quickly to me. The memory is running great and it's rated speed. I had no problems at all with this vendor and would recommend anyone who is buying computer memory to buy from MemoryX."
"I ordered a Cisco Falsh card
I received the card but it was defective. I had to send it back ($60). I received another one wich is NOT COMPATIBLE with my router ! I asked for support 1 week ago and got NO ANSWER (I emailed, phoned...)
I'm VERY Disapointed !!!"
"On November 6,2002 I ordered memory from these people. With-in 2 hours, I realized that I had ordered the wrong memory. I sent an e-mail informing them and also a return request per the company's TOS. I was given an RMA number of 5991 indicating that the company did indeed receive my request. The following afternoon I received a call from a representative of this company who confirmed my request once more. This is a total now of 3 times. From this point on the company fumbled around, botched things up, and lied. First, they sent me a confirmation e-mail stating they had sent the wrong product despite being informed 3 times prior to shipment what it was I actually needed. I confronted them on this and told them to cancel the order. I then received an e-mail that said that the right order was actually shipped, but they would cancel the order. Why would they send me a false confirmation? Why would they cancel the order if it was indeed correct? The only possible conclusion is that they have very poor communications between divisions of their company. I did not appreciate being lied to. Then, to top it all off, I found that when I went in to leave feedback, my log in had been cancelled. Fortunately, I was able to get a new password and warn buyers about this company. Again, I do not reccommend them. They lack integrity and are very disorganized and inept. Unbelievable! Despite this company saying that they recalled the package sent to me--I received it on Nov. 12th. The invoice said ship to Rich Romne somewhere in California. My name is Rich Carnes and I live in Ohio??? I did not accept and I still don't know whether these people have charged my card or not. BUYER BEWARE!! This company is probably the most inept internet vendor out there and they do not stand by their word. MemoryX sales people are once again lying. They never sent me an e-mail identifying the correct memory. After a phone conversation, they sent me a confirmation e-mail with the wrong product still identified. As explained earlier, they then sent memory to my address that was designated to be shipped to someone else. Now, despite the fact that I cancelled all orders with them and sent their merchandise back, they charged my mastercard $63.15!!!??? They are liars and scam artists. Check out their overall rating. I am now in process of hassling with them to get my money back. They don't have a clue what they are doing. In response to MemoryX comment all I have to say is they are lying. I should never have received an order that was cancelled!! My credit card should not be charged for merchandise I do not have. Finally, confirmations should indicate what the customer ordered. MemoryX is attempting to make a hasty retreat from an awkward and embarrassing situation. I don't appreciate it and I'll blow their cover with the truth at every opportunity. My problems with this vendor are continuing as on Dec. 16, 2002 I received an e-mail from them thanking me for my recent purchase!!! They have charged my card again. They are idiots!!! I wrote them back demanding an immediate credit and requested that they get out of my hair. I am waiting on my card statement to see if these people finally fix their huge mess. I see their rating is going up. That is good that they recognize that they have been conducting subpar business with below average customer satisfaction. Personally, I would be afraid to ever go out on a limb with these people because there are better vendors/resellers."
"Memoryx sent me two times the wrong memory. I ordered an ECC memory for my SunBlade 100 and I received two times regular SDRAM. Then I sent emails to the custumer services and to the support and two weeks after I didn't get any answers.
As I cannot add my comments to your comments, I put them here:
Game over, try aqgain...
We can play this game until the end of the life on earth...
What I am sure now is that your company are not going to survive for a long time and it is my compensation for the money I lose by your fault. Of course you don't care, but your lose more money that you think.
By the way I know what I saying when I say this is not a compatible ECC memory for my Sun Blade 100!!!
