"Ordered Rambus memory from these guys on Friday the 20th, got order confirmation via email. Waited a week still no memory. Went to website to get email address for customer service, link for email didn't work, had to manually type email address, then found it odd that website is memoryx.net and email is .com. Received an email late that same day that memory was shipping out that day a week after I placed the order. In all fairness the earliest they could have shipped it out would have been the 23rd, but it wasn't shipped till the 27th."
"the memory i bought from you is giving errors. i would like to return it. on june 11, and again on june 15, i tried sending email to the customers@ address, but i have as yet received no reply, not even an auto-response.
what gives? the further details of the problem are in the email i sent. i would like to know that my message has not been lost or ignored.
update on june 17: i just called their 866 number, and asked to talk to "customer service". i talked to a very helpful lady who said she had responded to my emails, but that it was possible her replies had gotten trapped by spam filters somewhere along the line. (she said a number of other customers had reported this happening.) she took my info by phone and promised someone would call me.

"VERY Satisfied! MemoryX had the product I wanted, at a reasonable price. The memory was securely packaged, and I received it a day earlier than expected. What more can I ask? This first-time buyer will definitely be back."
"MemoryX shipped the product I ordered the next business day (for free since my order exceeded $100). Sent out confirmation e-mails on order receipt and shipping. What more can you ask for?"
"I really had a good experince with this company.I needed to upgrade memory on old computer and could not find the part any where else. They helped me with finding the right part for my computer and had excellence shipping.I got it in 2 days. They also kept me informed by email about my shipment the whole time.I would strongly recomend this company to everyone.I will defintly use them again."
"Excellent service, quick response, flexible international shipping terms."
"I am completely blown away by the tremendous level of service I've received from MemoryX. First of all, they have the best prices by far that I've seen anywhere. They have consistently gotten my package to my doorstep within a day or two. And with this particular package, they didn't even charge shipping fees. I don't know how they do it. Add to this, the fact that their website makes finding the right part incredibly simple. I have already recommended this company to the IT director at my company and also to my Dad to help him upgrade my Mom's computer. MemoryX is by far the best on-line merchant I've ever done business with."
"I've ordered from them several times in the last couple of years and they've always done a great job shipping me exactly what I've ordered and in a timely manner."
"Ordered some TwinMos 3200 and Laserjet 1100 memory.
The products were shipped on time, but the shipping part was a frickin fiasco. Memory-X was not at fault. All I can complain about was that the shipping otions to canada were lacking.
Here's what happened:
December 6th 2003:
-Placed order # memx-xxxxxx.
-Shipping selected: DHL/Airborne to Canada, 2 days.
December 9th 2003:
-Sent email to Memory-X customer support requesting tracking number
-Received tracking number without incident
December 10th 2003:
-Got ‘formal’ email from Memory-X with tracking info and URL
December 11th (?) 2003:
-Noticed on DHL Website that package arrived in Montreal on the 9th of December, but nothing had been delivered to me yet.
-Called DHL customer support. They had no idea where it was.
-They said it should be delivered within the day or by Monday December 15
-I was dissatisfied. Opened package tracing case, ticket # xxxxxxx
-Customer service agent said that I’d get a callback within the day.
-No callback.
December 15th 2003:
-Called DHL customer service.
-Agent sent email and left voicemail at tracking department and said I’d get callback.
-I got manager’s number, left voicemail.
-Trace desk called in. Said they’d start a ‘warehouse search’. Agent stated that all packages that arrived in Montreal on December 9th would have already been delivered.
-Agent said that he’d call back the next day with warehouse search results.
December 16th 2003:
-No callback from Olivier.
-Callback from manager: Manager states that package is probably either lost or stolen. Told me to contact originator (memory-x). Told her that if package was sent out it was no longer Memory-X’s responsibility; it was DHL’s.
-Manager said she’d callback later in the day.
-I sent email to Memory-X customer service.
-Tried to call Olivier directly many times, busy tone.
-Got response from MemoryX. Filled out “Lost/Delayed” form and provided the above info as per agent's request. Faxed form.
-No callback from DHL Customer Service manager.
Today, the 17th:
-Got callback from DHL manager, package found.
-Package delivered successfully.
-Informed MemoryX of this. I was credited for the amount I paid for shipping. No bitching on my part required!
=-=-=
If I had any problems, it was with DHL, the shipping outfit.
-MemoryX sent the packages on time.
-MemoryX replied to all emails. (was always in touch)
-MemoryX was ready to re-ship order if it was indeed lost or stolen
-MemoryX credited my account with shipping cost.

MemoryX had the products I needed at the price I wanted to pay. They did EVERYTHING right. If you need memory, give them a look-see.
But for the love of God, DO NOT USE DHL/Airborne under any circumstances.
If there's one negative aspect of ordering from MemX, it was that their shipping options to Canada were limited/crappy. US customers have the UPS option, which is excellent.
MEMORY-X ROCKS."
"Memoryx.net has always done me right with there TwinMos memory.
The best, go TwinMos!!!! "
"First purchase, February (to March): 2 x 32 MB of Apple LaserWriter memory, received 2 x 16 MB, tried to phone two times more than 10 minutes, wrote e-mails, had to wait 2 weeks for an answer, had to resend chips to receive correct ones (I live in Europe and shipping back costed more than 10 US$).
Second purchase, July (to August): 1 x 256 MB memory for VAIO SR1K, as stated on their site; but it occured that put a 256 MB chip in a SR1K doesn't work; had to write 2 times to have a final confirmation (10 days to have an answer each time, on the first, they said "of course it should work", on the second, they said: "afraid it's not compatible"). They proposed me to buy 2 x 128 MB (2 x 78 US$) instead of 1 x 256 MB (1 x 86 US$), refused. Had to ship back (costed 15-20 US$ because of oversized parcel) and lost custom taxes (lost 10 US$ more). They finally corrected their web page 1 month later... (regarding the tracking: I received one e-mail to confirm the command and nothing else until the FedEx guy rang at my door...)"
"Don't order from these guys. They sent me the wrong part multiple times. First, the part(memory for my laptop) did not work. So, they charged my card to ship an advanced replacement and they sent me a memory card for a camera WTF. Called, they had me ship that back to them and they sent a replacement (which again didn't work) and they said that they were going to also send a label for the shipping back to them (they did not) Finally, one of their techs sends me another memory module (this one in a compaq box) and it finally works. I pay (again) to send back the bad memory and the camera memory stick and after about 8 weeks, they finally issue a refund. Here's the kicker, not only did they not refund me either of the two shipping fees that were charged to my card (the original memory and the camera memory) but since I waited for a shipping label(which their person on the phone told me to do) they went ahead and put on a 15% restocking fee. MOTHER F*CKERS. In the end, my memory upgrade that was supposed to cost me $31 plus shipping ended up costing $25 more than expected! Needless to say, I'll never buy from them again and I recommend everyone else to not buy from them either. Instead try newegg.com or compgeeks.com I've only had good transactions with them.
MemoryX SUCKS DONKEY BALLS!!!"
"I had a few problems getting different memory than I ordered, however this company did eventually correct the problem and sent me prepaid shipping to return the wrong memory."
"awesome prices.. fast shipping... ram is blazing fast... will definetly use for any ram i need in the future.. outstanding company.."
"I ordered a 128MB memory board for a Sony Vaio notebook. It was supposed to be shipped the next day using 2nd day air. I received an email confirming the order but then nothing for 3 days. On the third day I called them and they found the order in shipping. They upgraded the shipping to FedEx next day and shipped it that day. I received it as promised, it was the correct item and it worked when installed in my notebook. I would order again from them and am satisfied with the price and the quality of the product."
