"I have had no problems with micropro throughout my experences and only found out about the going out of business because I had a number of other things that I wanted to buy from them.

I purchased a Tyan k7 thunder system and although it had a few problems, The service that I got from micro-pro was exemplairy. I hope that they will be able to restart the business.

No complaints.

"Hello, I Am Sorry To TEll you Guys that Micro Pro Has gone out of business, there are reasons that will not be released to the public, but i can assure you any orders that were released prior to closing down will be processed. the reasons you can not contact anyone at micropro are:

1. there is no more sales departament
2. there is no more customer service or tech departement
3. the only people that are there are the owners, who are trying to resolve final issues

So, please if you will, stop bashing a company for things it's not doing, when it is not possible for the company to do these things anymore

I'm terribly sorry if this company has caused any of you hassles, but all good things have an end. and it is time for this one. i bid you all farewell

"Placed order 9/5/03. Received order 9/11... Deduced unit was defective. Got rma 9/19, received advanced replacement 9/29 and it works, sent rma unit back. They received 10/08. Allow 14 business days for credit to be applied"... would be 10/28... still no credit to my account... to this day no credit... guess I lose...

will not do business again as I've essentially bought 2 cd-rw roms, only have 1 that works... am out $43.00 plus rma shipping...

"I've purchased from Micro Pro approximately 14 times in the past. I purchased custom computers from them for local government and home users. The previous purchases were handled in an excellent manner. This time, it appears Micro Pro is in serious trouble. They've lost the ability to charge Master Cards and Visas. The only response I got from them was when I told them to cancel this last order. Then they wanted an electronic transfer of funds. Since I wasn't born yesterday, I didn't comply. So I went to one of my other favorite resellers, mwave.com and had them build and test all the components I picked out. Just fired it up, very sweet system. Anyway I'll miss Micro Pro, but they leave me no choice. When I asked what their problem was, they said all they could say is they were restructuring. Somebody should tell them, You think it's hard getting customers? Try getting them back."

"Applied for a reseller account on 10/1. Received approval on 10/2. Placed my first order via company credit card 10/3. Reply said it would ship in one week. It did not. They Left emails, faxes, voice messages every day for the last week. Today 10/21 the recorder no longer picksup the phone. However the online order system appears to still accept orders. Not sure if card was billed. Beware....."

"I purchased a Video Card on 10/05 (or so I thought) but my order never got past the "verifying that the billing and shipping addresses on your order match what is on file with your credit card company" stage. After waiting two weeks for my order to be processed, I have since cancelled my order and purchased the video card from another company. Amazing, it only took them 12 hours to process my order and give me a tracking number. What happened to Micro-Pro did they go out of business?"

"Website is adequately stream-lined and easy to navigate. I had to add an authorized address to my credit card since the shipping address was not my billing address (which I like to prevent fraud). E-mail updates where very prompt (both human and auto). Tracking# was available promptly. The package arrived at the expected date. Somewhat concerned that the seal was broken on the box (a retail DVD+/-RW drive) but nothing was missing and the drive worked fine. Really nothing to complain about. An uneventful transaction."

"Our recent business transaction with Micro Pro was a little rocky-- from our order date of 08/21/03 to their final shipment date of 09/04/03. There were initial problems with order fulfillment and shipping on their end, and several calls had to be made to resolve their errors. Dialogue with their representatives had to become rather forceful to get them to step up and take care of the time crunch they had put us under.

In the end, the customer service manager went out of his way to ensure that their errors were corrected by overnighting us the remaining items in our order. Hopefully this was a one-time thing, and maybe this was the exception to their normal service. Micro Pro could avoid these types of problems with a more accurate representation of their inventory, and better communication with their customers and between internal departments.

Those issues aside, they have very competitive prices and we’re ultimately happy with the products we ordered from them.

"This company sucks! I would never NEVER order from them again and advise anyone else to stay away from them too. I placed an order online 08/22/03. I followed up on 08/29/03 after checking online where the status said it was in the warehouse waiting to be shipping. Turns out these guys don't have any of the product I ordered, will not offer any substitute and won't even refund my credit card order until Tuesday which is 4 days away. YOU GUYS SUCK!!!!"

"I ordered a Tyan motherboard with a Barton 2500+ CPU combo. The order process was quick and easy. Although the tracking system was not working at the time, I emailed them and they were promt to respond with an estimated date of arrival. My ordered arrived within a week from Cleveland, Ohio to Northern California. The products came assembled with a Coolermaster copper-based heatsink. I was able to overclock it to something like 2.24Ghz@50*C full load with the stock HS. This was the cheapest deal I found for my products after searching pricegrabber.com and pricewatch.com at the time. I would order from them again and advise others to do also if they live in California and do not want to pay the sales tax. Highly recommended.

"I ordered ram and a motherboard. I was VERY impressed by how quickly they shipped it to me. I was impressed by how quickly I got responses when I needed to email them. Instead of them waiting for the ram I ordered, they sent me BETTER ram at no extra cost. I would be VERY likely to order from them again. When I order parts on the internet I want them shipped quickly. I also looked at the packaging. They shipped my motherboard and ram in a well packaged box. I'm always worried about that because I've been to a shipping hub."
