"I bought a few things from Modcloth because they were having a massive sale - and boy I got lucky! The L'art pour L'art Dress - was absolutely a dream, and fit like a glove. I felt so beautiful when I put that dress on and I cannot wait to wear it again. It was perfect for a 1920's party I went to! I bought the Big Bucks Socks for my boyfriend, who enjoys a good pair of detailed socks. The Pearls of Wisdom Necklace was gorgeous, and goes with anything. But my one disappointment was the Enamored of Enamel Necklace - poor quality, and awful. Oh well! But Thank you, I love my purchases!"

"I would love to review the dresses and tunic I bought from Modcloth. Unfortunately the items haven't arrived yet. I emailed Customer Service and it took someone over a week to get back to me. While the email was nice, I felt that my issue was brushed aside as I am an international customer. I know I paid the cheapest shipping (I live in Melbourne, Australia) and that I knew when ordering that it would probably 3 weeks. I ordered over a month ago now. When I suggested that they review their shipping for international customers, I felt that it wasn't really a "big deal" because I live in Australia. I shop, primarily online, especially for my clothes. I have ordered many items over the internet from the USA and they have arrived in under 10 days and there was no shipping cost. I love modcloth's clothes and jewellery, it's just the delivery. I would recommend modcloth to my friends, but I would warn them about the postage time. Most of us are students and can't afford $30 for shipping. "

"I have ordered many things from here before and have always been satisfied, however, i recently bought the 'logging miles boot' on the 16th of january and choose the regular shipping method (it said 7-12 days) as the price of express shipping was too high, and i have still not received them. i have very disappointed, and probably will not be shopping here again. i completely understand that you have to charge a more significant amount for international shipping, yet i am still quite upset. "

"I had been an admirer of this site for a long time, but never ordered anything because the shipping charges to Canada were too high. Finally they were lowered, and I ordered a purse. It has been 3 and half weeks since I placed my order and I have yet to get the correct package. It took two and half weeks to get the wrong item in the mail, which had no packaging and was a tea set and was therefore broken upon arrival. I had been told earlier that there may have been a mix up in shipping and was to contact them as soon as I got a package..I did so, and unlike their claim that they respond within 24 hours, it has been 5 days, and I have yet to hear a word from them. Who knows how long it will take to sort this all out, and whether the product will be worth it in the end..can't say I am very pleased. "

"Always helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate is how I'd describe the responses I've gotten from the Customer Relations department at Modcloth :). The shipping is fast and I love the flat rate. The products are definitely more hit than miss ;). Part of buying online is knowing how clothes flatter you and having an honest appreciation for your own style and comfort. I've ordered several times from Modcloth and have never had to return an item (fingers crossed.) They respond quickly and thoroughly to any questions you have, and you gotta love the sales :). "

"I absolutely love ModCloth. Not only do they have amazing clothes, shoes, accessories.... there customer service is even more amazing. Anytime I have a question or have a problem with my order they are extremely friendly and polite. AND they take care of it quickly! Love Love Love ModCloth! Just last night I placed an order that I accidentally put in the wrong shipping address for... I spoke with Christine H. and she let me know that it was too early to make changes on the order but she would monitor it and see if she could update the address for me, and would email me to let me know. Usually if a business says they will get back to you, they do not follow through. But not ModCloth, I received an email from Christine H. within a couple hours! So great! I LOVE MODCLOTH!"

"I can't believe how wonderful Modcloth's customer service is. I bought two dresses. One of them turned out to be too snug, and I needed to return it. I called customer service to do the "quick exchange" thing-- ordered the dress a size up, they waived shipping, and I got an emailed label to send the other dress back to get refunded while the other dress was already on its way. Then, while looking at my order tracking, I saw that the other dress, the one that had fit, had gone on sale $30 cheaper, just a day after I purchased it. So I chatted online with Stephanie, who offered me two options: immediate store credit for $30, or return the dress and re-buy it at the lower price. Fantastic! I took the store credit because I will definitely be ordering again. The return process was painless, both customer service reps I dealt with were terrific, and the clothing is GORGEOUS. "

"I love ModCloth. I have been a customer of ModCloth for 2 years now and until now I have never had my order go through Canadian customs. Unfortunately, everything I order from them lately has gone through customs, which delays my order at least a week (I am not sure if this is because they use USPS). This also makes it difficult to work with their 30 day refund policy if you are thinking of purchasing a different size but need to see the fit first (as what happened with me). However, in spite of the difficulties and frustrations with customs, I will continue to shop with ModCloth. Why? Their customer service is always extremely helpful and trust me, I have called on them many times for help. As I am an impatient person, I always use the LiveChat which is a GREAT feature as it allows you to talk to a customer service agent right away. It is not the fault of ModCloth that my items go through customs. However, once I inform them of the problem, they always try to see what they can do on their end to remedy it. You can tell they want to help their customers out however possible. If I could change one thing, I wish that the refund for International customers was extended to say, 45 days, and I wish we had cheaper return shipping (Americans get free returns). It’s enough to make me want to get an American P.O. Box!"
