"I ordered 6 items from their website on 3/3. Everything I ordered is "in stock", usually shipped within 1-2 business days. And I chose 3-day fedex shipping. My credit card was charged the full amount on 3/6.
Did not receive any item the week of 3/6-3/10.
Called their sales number on Monday 3/13. Promised all product would be shipped out 3/14 by 2-day fedex and I should receive by 3/16.
Called again 3/15 to follow up but nothing was actually shipped.
Finally on 3/15 evening they shipped 3 products out of the 6 items I ordered, which I received on 3/17 Friday. TWO WEEKS FROM THE DATE I PUT ORDER IN!!!!!!
Called them again on 3/16 to followup on the other 3 items that are "back-ordered". Promised me that it will be overnighted to me so I could receive on Friday. And one associate told me it has been shipped but cannot get Fedex tracking number somehow.
Turned out IT WAS A TOTAL LIE. I did not receive any overnite package during the weekend. When I called again today, told me one of the product they don't have anymore so they have to cancel. The other 2 items will be overnighted today. So far no email notification about the shipping and Fedex tracking.
VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. TAKES FOR EVER FOR SOMEBODY TO PICK UP PHONE AND ANSWER. PUT YOU ON HOLD FOREVER. DO NOT HAVE THE COURTESY OF TELLING CUSTOMER THE TRUTH. SERIOUSLY LACK OF INTEGRITY IN DOING BUSINSS!
WONDER HOW THEY SURVIVED IN THIS FREE MARKET.
THIS EXPERIENCE IS A TOTALLY TORTURE TO ME. I WOULD NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. AND WOULD ADVISE EVERYBODY NOT TO ORDER FROM THEM. "

"I am very satisfied with the recently two orders from Monarchcomputer.com. The first one was placed on March 2th,2006. Order was shipped after one day. I originally only paid the Fedex ground service and received the free update to 2nd day service. The second order was placed on March 16 ,2006. Due to highly demand of my order (AMD opteron 146), my order got delayed, which is still understandable. I also get the 2nd shpping service by Fedex. "
"due to a issue delivering to a diffrant address than what is on my card i cancled my order and then had my dad in alma nebraska order it because i would be with him when it would come in therfor i had wanted it to be deliverd to him
befor monarch computer notifided me that the shippign address was not on my card thay had alredy taken the money out of my account
it was understud thay do this befor thay contenu with the order or fix any shipping issues
on my dads order we did get the ram i orderd ok with no problems but shipping was later than promised
the refund on my order however has not yet come in ther polocy is it takes 10-15 bissness days well it has now ben 20 days for a refund from cancle
on monday the 13 march when i called thay sed that the refund had ben processed that morning and shuld take up to 5 days to go thrue and shuld be in on friday its friday and i have yet to get my refund for the first order.
1. my dad when he called on the 23 of febuary befor we noticed the 15day refund polocy he was informed about it and he talked to the manager who sed he would run the refun over to the refund department and it would be expidited and be out sooner
2. this is the first company that could not put the money back from a refund or such on the same or 2nd day in to the same bank and same account without problems
monarch computer.com needs a verry thural investagation done on them i was refferd to them by a good frend but his last order from them had been some time ago

"Update. I received a call from Sterling Friday morning. He went well beyond what I would have expected from a representive, he had my order delivered to me, next day on a Saturday. My respect for Monarch has gone up drastically. Thanks Sterling!
Unfortunately the order I placed on the 10th was placed after hours. I had hoped that by opting for 2 day delivery my order would reach me the following week while I would be around to sign for it. At this point the memory I ordered appears to be in "submitted to the warehouse for processing" limbo leading me to believe I'll either need to take another day off of work or rush to FedEx and hope I make it there before they close sometime next week. I've dealt with Monarch before and other than their lack luster processing/shipping system, they seem to be a fairly reputable company.
While I can appreciate their requirement of a signature for delivery, the fact that it's impossible to anticipate when they'll actually get around to shipping an order means I won't be doing business with them further. When a company can't, for whatever reason, fulfill an order in the time they state they will, and don't notify the customer of any issues, I'll no longer patronize them. Next time I'll spend a few dollars more and go with a more organize company.

The item arrived about 4 days later in new packaging. It took me 15 min to install the card and everything is working fine so far. Will definitely buy from this company again if I see a good deal.

I recently had an issue with an order. I admit it was a frustrating experience at first until someone from Monarch contacted me. They went the extra mile to make things right. Above and beyond what any retailer has ever done for me.
If you experience any issues with your order make sure you call and ask for a manager if they don't make things right. Monarch employees are committed to customer service and if they make a mistake they will make it right.

"my first purchase with monarch and i am not very pleased. heres the condensed version of the story.
placed my order for an opteron 146 and a tt volcano 12 cooler. this was for my uncles computer and i needed this by the weekend because i lack the time to make frequent trips to his home. ordered on very very early tuesday morning.
called wed after work to make sure it would be here for the weekend, was advised the volcano 12 was not on hand, it would have to be shipped from the other warehouse. sales rep helped me to decide on another cooler that they had in stock and upgraded my order to second day air with the assurance it would go out that night. so far so good.
thursday came with no invoice, no update to the status of my order and no e-mail explaining if there was a problem or not. called on thursday, again, after work. was told by the same sales rep that the opteron 146's they had had been damaged in shipping(no e-mail letting me know of that) and that my order was still at the packing stage. after expressing my displeasure, he spoke with his manager, and offered me this. an opteron 144 with the same 60.00 coupon that i had used when i originally placed the order as well as next day air at no expense. i took that because the processor was advertised at 129 on the website that day, 129 minus the 60.00 would have been a tremendous savings for me and in turn my uncle who was paying me back for the system. thinks have turned murky put they seem to be stepping up and making that extra effort.
friday, received my invoice. very unhappy with the fact that they did charge me full nda price and only gave me half the promised 60.00 discount
(the reason i was given is that the opteron 144 has a 30 coupon automatically, yet no where on the website does it mention this nor is it my responsibility when i was told the discount i used would apply) and the bottom of the heatsink arrived with marks that could have not have happened in shipping. i had no choice but to use the heatsink and had to settle for a lesser processor because i had to get the system built.
long story short i dint get the promised coupon applied to the price listed on website, order was well packed but arrived with slight damage to bottom of heatsink, was charged full nda shipping and have not received my refund yet. i build alot of systems for other people, this one time i strayed from the two competeing companies that i have always used, kind of a slap in the face to finally build a system for a family member trying to save a little money on a good processor and get this amount of agravation, will not use again.
****edit, i was contaced by shane, one of the managers there, who took a personal interest in my problem. with his help we have come to a satisfactory conclusion to this problematic order. i will probably try placing another order from monarch to see how it goes, just waiting for some funds to come in"
"Just recieved my new custom computer. Everything works flawlessly.. Had to plug in a sata hard drive cable that came loose during shipping but thats to be expected. I was very pleased when I opened the case up to see what a neat job was done with all the cables to get maximum airflow . GOOD JOB MONARCH!! You will be my recommended parts supplier and computer builder and I will be back for any future upgrades if needed.
