On October 20th, a friend of mine informed me of a great deal on ram at your site; it was Patriots 512mb ram for $55.00 per stick, but then we noticed it may have been a mismarked item.
so i went ahead and ordered anyways.

It said 512 but we figured it might be 256 and you just made a mistake, but recently I had seen a post in a forum that you had taken advantage of a customer by making them wait a long time and I defended you because I had just ordered some ocz platinum elite ram and it came right away.
So, I figured well I'll stick it out and see what kind of company you are; will you send me 512 mb sticks I wondered? sure I hoped so, but I really dont care, I would have preferred an honest answer to my emails.
I ordered on the 20th of Oct right? Well, the 3rd of Nov rolled around and I hadn't heard a word from you, so I sent you this email:

you had changed the ram from 512 to 256 which really confirmed it was only 256 to me. i thought maybe you might send me an email and tell me of this change.
hmm no reply, i wait for another day, then a week, nothing. so i ended up sending out 2 more emails over the next 2 weeks and on the 14th i send out this

And this how you dealt with it: you avoided all of my emails, which confronted the fact that you made a mistake on your listing,
Maybe you didnt understand the question, right? I think anyone reading this can understand what I asked; I wanted an honest answer.
Why couldnt you just send me out an email saying that the ram was marked wrong, we made a simple grammatical mistake and sold you 512 mb ram that was only 256 mb. Your companies ethics have been shown clearly to me, and they arent looking real good. Here it is the 21st of nov and I still havent recieved a refund yet, I payed with paypal, maybe this is just another oversight also, right?
I'm not sending you this email and posting it on the net to make you lose business, I want you to get more business. But, I want you to get it because you are an honest store. You really need to address these issues of honesty and integrity within the inner workings of your company.
I want there to be more honest stores online. I hope you can become one of them. A reputation doesnt come easy online and I'm sorry that I have to bring this to your attention in such a public way. It seems to be the only way that change can happen though.

"This is the first time I ordered from Monarch. I read the reviews on this site and they looked excellent and so I purchased a new computer from them. I'm very pleased. A sales technician who was very knowlegeable helped me configure the machine from scratch. They promised a lead time to deliver of 10 to 15 business days and they did take 19 days. But not too bad for a custom configured machine. A couple weeks after having used the machine a small fan on the motherboard began making a lot of noise and so I called Monarch. Within a few days they had a repair technician in my house and the machine was fixed. Overall, I was very impressed. Very knowledgeable sales people. Very knowledable tech support (Thanks Dave for the great support!). And when there's a problem as there was in this case, they took care of it quickly. Additionally, the machine is beutiful - Congifuged from scratch to my requirements and every component is top notch. I feel very comfortable recommending these folks and plan on buying from them in the future. "
"I placed my order on a Sun night, paid for 2 day shipping, and they did not even "Verify" me for 4 days. I contacted them each day and noone could tell me why it was taking so long. I received my order a total of 12 days late in which time the $60 in rebates that I was supposed to get expired and they refused to refund my shipping even though it was their fault. I would never make another purchase with them nor would I recommend them to anyone, they have done nothing to reconcile the issue."

well i ordered my combo and parts on 3/9/06
and i must say that monarch gets a A+ for "real time" assembly.what most people forget is that the weekends dont count as assembly days towards a persons order. also the first day of purchase should never be counted as part of the building process. i gave them a A+ for the simple reason that i recieved my order at a realistic and prompt time considering that im not the only order in the whole companys list of orders.this was my first experience with monarch,and i must admit that the reviews in this forum was what prompt me to go for the plunge. another thing i would like to add is that the few times i called the companys phone line,i always had a courteous rep on the other line. to mention a few that were helpful were greg and kieth. overall, im very happy with my experience and would definitly recommend this company to others that either wants parts or a custom built rig.ive never found any other company that actually comes close in comparison to what monarch offers in a all-around scale. they pre-test your combos,install heatsink,flash latest bios before shipping!!!prices are good too!!!i dont think you can ask anything more from a computer online store.

Here was my ordering experience:
I ordered a OEM CPU and had a coupon for it. When I entered the code, it worked flawlessly and gave me the proper discount.
The order shipped promptly and Monarch kept me informed as to what was happening with my order from start to shipping. I like that.
However, when the order arrived I was unimpressed with the packaging job they had done. Part of it was FedEx’s fault and the other part was Monarch’s. What really impressed me though is how they handled my complaint so promptly.
They made it right for me in a way that makes me a very satisfied customer and I applaud them for it.
They care what "I the customer" think so much that they sent out a survey for me to tell them what I thought. I felt that was a great touch.
The packaging issue I had will not keep me from shopping with Monarch in the future. Because they handled it so well, I'm currently pricing more items on their site and looking forward to doing business with them again in the near future."
"I have conducted business with Monarch Computer Systems on three different occasions. My first purchase was that of a custom built PC. I was very pleased that I could logon to their website and check the building progress anytime I desired. After I received the computer, Monarch’s high reputation was confirmed by the care that went into packaging before shipment. The system was built with an incredible attention to detail all the way down to the smallest zip tie tidying up the inside of the computer case. This computer is heavily tasked on a regular basis and has preformed flawlessly. You can tell a lot of care and pride went into the building of this system.
My most recent purchase was that of a water cooling system. What they advertised and what I paid for was actually the first generation of the device they sent me. It seems the outdated product I was purchasing was no longer in stock and what they actually had on their shelf was the newer version. They could have easily told me what I ordered was out of stock and made me pay for the higher cost of the newly designed water cooling system. In keeping with their professionalism and classy business tactics they sent me the newer product at no extra cost to myself. Bye-the-way, I didn't know they were doing this until the product arrived. Needless to say I was very excited!
