"Recently I had the worst online purchasing experience with Cyberpower and it's still not resolved, and I am hoping they get investigated by the B.B. as they deserve it. After that I came upon this site and proceeded to do my homework. After some required reading and phone calls and a spread sheet I choose Monarch. No,they weren't the cheapest or have the most give aways nor was there alot of bling-bling. But there was no mis-representation, the sales and tech-support all speak English and if you do a real price comparison you'll find they give you as much for your dollar as some of the so-called boutique system builders. After all it's what's inside that counts. What I got was exactly what I asked for and it worked (for a month now)right out of the box. The sales rep was (Jason) knowledgeable of the products and made a few suggestions that turned out well and saved me some cash. As for the build quality, it was first rate. All the cables were tied NEATLY!! and positioned correctly. All the drivers were pretty much up to date and after loading some software and plenty useage I have had no problems or conflicts. I will admit to buying the extra warranty for 2 yrs. onsite and 24 hr. tech support and I hope I never have to use it. The reason I ponied up the extra money was this seems to be the only draw back with this company and I can't make the 9-5 tech support schedule work for me. The system actually arrived early with all the drivers,documentaion,disks,ect (as it should),no loose screws,dents or dings and most of all,NO MISSING PARTS OR BACKORDERS OR EXCUSES. It is important to note that any successful sale/purchase should,and has to be a win win situation for both parties and my experience with Monarch was so I will look at them 1st when I make future purchases."
"I was charged twice for my original purchase, after contacting Monarch via e-mail I recieved a reply about a hour (quick, considering it was 1AM) later along with a personal cell phone number of an employee to speak to. How many online retailers have let you contact them via cellphone at 1 in the morning? I thought that was pretty great, Monarch obviously cares about their customer service and reputation. I was really happy how they handled the situation. It would've been cool if they threw in $10 off my order for the lost time between my account recieving the money, but the great customer service was enough for me. Thumbs up to Monarch. "When I first looked at Monarch Computer Systems website I new it was time for an upgrade. I picked my own parts I had developed a budget of what I wanted to spend. I had basically replace the entire machine, motherboard etc. After talking with DavidF and explaining my needs he offered alternative parts. I received my order 2 days early and after putting the new motherboard in place I am totally satisfied with my purchase and DavidF's recommendations. I would definitely recommend Monarch and also DavidF for the technical and the non technical. As for the support my combo board/chip came with bonus software, I gave a quick call back and they were fast and courteous in directing me to the download site.

"I decided on a fairly expensive set of upgrades for my computer, including an SLI motherboard, CPU, video card, power supply and ram. I ordered a combination (MB & CPU) from Monarch, as I wanted the installation and testing process they offered. The CPU I wanted (AMD 3500+ Venice core) was not yet available, but I placed the order, and was told that I would be among the first in line to get my order filled.
When I called to check back on the 4th of May, there had apparently been some confusion. Looking at my order, it appeared that I had ordered the earlier version of the CPU (Winchester core). Since they were out of that processor, they had given me the newly-shipped Venice core anyway. Furthermore, the tech upped my shipping to FedEx Overnight at no additional charge, and sure enought, the box of new toys was delivered the next morning.
I was very satisfied with what I got, how I got it, and the response I got from the support people at Monarch. I will do business with them again.

"Monarch Computer did a great job of setting my system up as I expected they would. I am a returning customer, and also saw that they have a great rating on resellerratings.com. If I have one complaint. It is the fact that Monarch wouldn't accept my debit card which also doubles as a VISA card as payment. This made my order delayed more than it should have. So, in the future I would like for them to work on accepting this kind of payment. Other than that, this store is all about quality, and great service."

"Monarch sat on the order for 3 days before e-mailing to say there was a problem with the shipping address. I replied that they could send it to the billing address if it would arrive by Friday the 6th, or that they could call the credit card holder (it's a relative's card) via phone to authorize shipment to this address (it's an hour away from the billing address and I only see that relative on Saturday). Out of nowhere, I get a reply saying that the order is canceled.
Now we're waiting on the refund. Funny that they didn't have any problems charging the card BEFORE clearing shipping issues up.
Edit: right before I submitted this review, I also sent an e-mail to Monarch stating that my review would reflect what happened, et cetera.. within 30 minutes I received a call from "Joe" who offered to overnight the order for no charge. He explained that there was a simple misunderstanding and made everything right rather quickly. Though I was very put off at first by the abrupt canceling of the order, I am now quite impressed with the distance Monarch goes to ensure happy customers. I would recommend Monarch to anyone looking for good prices and friendly customer service. I understand that mistakes can (and did) happen, which is normal, but what isn't normal is how fast Monarch worked to fix the problem. Their high rating here is well deserved."
