I pre-ordered an AMD64 3200+ Venice chip knowing that it would probably not ship til the 6th of May, but JoeF let us know that they received them early. I also bought a 3200+ Venice retail as a favor for someone. In both cases the item was shipped that day (floppy might have shipped the next day, don't remember exactly). I've ordered from Monarch maybe 4 or 5 times now and it's always quick and smooth. I also shop at newegg, and in my opinion monarch packs a little better for shipping, but both stores are top notch. "Ordered one of their mofo/cpu combos with an amd athlon64 3800+ venice cpu and an Ultra-D motherboard with 1 Gb OCZ 4001024ELDCPE-K Ram. The 3800+ venice got delayed from the expected May 2nd to a May 20th and we were notified on Apr 28th. When I expected them to ignore us, I found that a Monarch Rep was on their forum explaining the situation. Although not their own fault, the representative contacted me on phone within 10 minutes of my email request at this Saturday midnight explaining the situation in full detail in person and solved all my inquiries. This is not my first time shopping online, just the first at Monarch Computers and the first time I got the impression that a company actually cares about its customers - esp. troubled ones. To that I am very grateful. My personal advise is: If a company ever has shown this much care towards its customers, it's safe and trustworthy to do business with.
