"The Monro in Fitchburg MA caused damage to my engine by improperly changing the oil filter in a routine oil change five or so months ago. They left the o-ring gasket in the filter chamber, this caused a blockage in the flow of oil damaging the lifters by oil starvation. When I brought the car back I was told to take it someplace else, and have been told the claim is "out of their hands". Naturally I have heard nothing from Monro on this, and I will now escalate the issue."

"Monro's hours are very flexible for workers. They are open on weekends and until evening during the week. This made it much easier for me to get my car fixed. They sounded very pleasant on the phone and offered me every special they had. I asked when I could bring it in and they let me know I could bring it immediately. This shocked me because most places you have to make an appointment first. They did put defective parts on my car the first time, but I took it back and they replaced them for me. Overall, the experience was good. I got my car fixed fast and with special deals."
