"I brought it in mid afternoon on Saturday and asked for it to be done by noon on Monday. (I thought I was doing the shop a favor by leaving it there for two nights so they would have the schedule flexibility to get it done on time.) They waited to order the brake sensors until Monday. It was not finished until about 3pm.
I then left the shop for a commitment for which I was already late. I got 5 miles away and had squeaking and smoking from one wheel. Had to bring it back right away. There didn't seem to be a lot of urgency to get it right in to see what was wrong.
Turned out that the tech had overtightened the right rear wheel emergency brake.Once that was fixed, it was after 4:30 pm. I missed the obligation that I was to fulfill that afternoon as a result of the delays.
I was not offered any compensation for this fiasco, nor even much of an apology."

I also had the work verified when I went home to get my snow tires on, and Mavis told me the work was high quality, but they could have done the same work for almost $140.00 less.
