"I had an Oil change (+ other work) 10 days prior. now I'm pulling out of drive and saw big oil stain. Looked under car, now late for work, and saw oil actively draining from filter. Pressure was ok, so bolted to shop, very busy on Saturday. Manger himself put it up and fixed it, all while running the shop and people steady in and out. Probably a faulty filter and has been ok since then. Didn't miss more than an hour of work. Very impressed with their response to a problem probably beyond their control. I've always had good luck going to various Monroe shops (verses the dealer) through 4 different vehicles over the past 15-20 years, but that was above and beyond what I expected. I only wish I could remember his name."
"I've been going here for a couple of years. I like the current manager (Mike) and the guys here seem to really want to help you. Unfortunately, I recently I received an oil change that ended with almost all of the oil draining from my car. They were very helpful in trying to get everything fixed up but it's been almost two months of trying to figure out why my engine leaks oil now. Their insurance coverage has now taken over and I'm working with their insurance to solve the issue. They often do good work in my experience. I encourage everyone to always check the work done. Often good does not mean always good. These guys are human too. It could save you the trouble and inconvenience I've been dealing with if you double check any work done here.
Update (9/5/17): I was told by Monro's insurance company (Travelers) that the paperwork originally submitted in the accident report by Monro's Verona manager (Mike) did not admit to the oil change leading to my engine losing almost all of it's oil (See above). Something to consider is that Mike was the only one who saw my car the morning I brought it back and he will openly admit that his eyesight is not very good. He stated to me once that he could not look at my car because he would not be able to see well enough to help me. He relies on his technicians to be his eyes for him. The best I can tell is that they are getting away on a technicality that nobody can prove the oil change caused the leak because something COULD have happened to the car between the day I received the oil change (7/6/17) and the day I brought it back (7/8/17) after my engine lost the majority of it's oil. FYI- My car sat in my apartment parking lot on 7/7/17 which was likely the only reason I did not lose my oil sooner. Also, the diagnostic work that was approved by Travelers at my local Kia dealership found an oil leak from my car's oil pressure sensor (I honestly couldn't tell you if that was caused by the bad oil change because that wouldn't cause any major leaks anyway.) but the important part of the diagnostic work was the borescope that found "blue metal" which shows premature wear on my engine from extreme heat/running my car with improper oil pressure. I think I can assume safely that was due to my engine running so low on oil after the oil change.
In conclusion/summary I do not see any resolution coming out of this incident and I think some very costly work on my car may be in my future. Since it is a 2013 and I bought it less than 2 years ago I am extremely aggravated and plead to anyone reading this review to rethink bringing their car here. If they did or do good work for you then I think that is great, and I hope that continues because they have done good work for me too. However, if they make a mistake and they can get around taking ownership of it then they will."

"Had an oil change and while it was on the lift I asked if they could inspect my front struts since the dealer that I had it at for inspection recently told me they may be due for replacement soon. They took a look and informed me that they may need replacement in the future and what to look for when that time comes. They gave me a price quote that was several hundred dollars less than the dealer. I will be coming back here for strut replacement when they are due and for other work as well. "
