"I have been going to Monro for oil changes and vehicle inspections for longer than I can remember. I had one costly problem that arose from their service several years ago, and just recently became aware no one there had been checking or telling me the state of my air filter. Other than those 2 incidents, I have been thoroughly satisfied with Monro and particularly their prices, ability to schedule at a moment's notice and how quickly they complete service while I wait. AS with any service anywhere on anything, customers should pay attention to what is being done and not done and have some knowledge of what needs done....with that in mind, I highly recommend Monro."
"Update 01/22/2015:
A manager contacted me from Monro. Monro's policy is same price for 2 wheel alignment as for 4 wheel alignment. If you don't specifically say 4 wheel alignment they do 2 wheel alignment even on AWD cars (see if that makes sense), but they only tell you this after you file a formal complaint :). The receipt does not specify which alignment has been done and they don't give you a printout that shows alignment for each wheel (according to manager printer has been broken for over 6 years). The manager offered that I bring the car again and they will take a look at it, but again they can't give a printout so I just have to take their word for it. I think Monro should take the time to educate their employees on ethics and difference between FWD and AWD cars (oh and get that printer fixed).

I brought a mazda cx-9 AWD for wheel alignment after an accident with curb to make sure all wheels are straight. The cost was 89.99 minus 20% coupon. The manager told me that the printer had been broken for about 6 years and so he cannot give me any printout but that the alignment is good after making adjustment.
My car has been driving poorly in rain and when the snow hit it became very unsteady. I took it to firestone for a second opinion. Firestone found that the right rear tire is at such an angle from accident that it is impossible to do the alignment (they charged me 29.99). Firestone gave me a printout showing all tires and that it is not possible to do alignment with the car the way it is now. Car is now being worked at body shop which concurs with Firestone.
I came back to Monroe and showed them the printout from Firestone. The person at counter told me that their alignment carries no warranty and that he was not going to look at car again. Not only that Monroe told me that they didn't check all four tires the first time but only the two front tires and that’s why they didn’t find what Firestone did. Apparently I should have asked specifically for all 4 tires to be checked on an AWD car. I have being to a couple of shops for alignment including Tallman and Firestone and shop always worked with me to try and find a solution. So this was by far the worst customer treatment I have received at any store.
The worst thing is that somebody could have really been killed driving this car the way Monroe left it. I have been coming to this shop regularly for a couple years now for oil change because it is so close to me, but I am never coming back there again. "

"Whoever mounts and install tires needs to be fired because they cannot handle the simple task. Upon getting on the interstate I drove a total of 15 miles until my tires became dead flat. Brand new tires. I then had to wait an hour for a tow truck to arrive and then had to pay roughly 120 dollars to tow the car back to the Monro garage. Overpriced service while lacking in quality of workmanship will never bring me back to a Monro. "
