"This is my second order. I was pleased with the first order although the cardboard packaging was tight, damaging part of two of the plants. They both survived luckily. My second order sat in the mailbox all night, freezing one of the plants. I have it in a sunny window, hoping that it will pick itself up. I know it is not the companies fault of the plant freezing but I also did not know they were delivered. I did take pictures when I opened the box
I am happy with the selections that I chose and received. The plants were as described and healthy. I also liked that there was a little booklet enclosed in my package that provided plant care information."

"The plants arrived a day late due to weather circumstances in the area. I know that this is not the fault of Mountain Crest Gardens but I can say that the fact of the Heat Pack, for which I paid, was not properly activated and I am concerned for the health of the plant I bought. It is perhaps too soon to tell but it was quite disappointing to see the heat pack not used properly."
"The Post Office had this order for an extra few days - was supposed to be here Saturday and then didn't get delivered until Tuesday because of the holiday weekend. That beat the box up and everything was a mess, but these plants were beautifully packed and did not sustain much damage. One of the jade plants had a little freeze damage (I think), but the rest looked really good once they were cleaned up."

"I have ordered from them twice now, both times, everything was in excellent condition, and it was all very easy to unpack. I had one plant that I mishandled and broke the roots. I told them about it and they sent me a new one at no charge. I now have a beautiful array of succulents and can't wait to order from them a 3rd time. :) "

"I am very happy with the service I received from Mountain Crest. The only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 is that I feel I can confidently predict that my succulents are not going to make it. When I placed my order, I had no idea that the weather was going to be as severe as it turned out to be. My succulents, air plant and the air plant food arrived FROZEN SOLID. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the provider or the delivery company. I would have preferred that there be a delay in shipping. Now I'm not sure whether to do business with Mountain Crest again or not. Again, this severe weather is unprecedented for the majority of the country (February 2021), but I am disappointed that I wasted my money.
On another note, after I placed my order, I received an email from Mountain Crest about a Valentine's Day sale and I was able to request and receive the discount on my order. Fingers crossed my succulents will "revive"."

"I had a really fun time picking out succulents on the website. They have a great selection, and check out was easy and painless. After check out is where my problems started. I live in Alaska, so I purchased the 3-day shipping, as well as some heating packs. My order shipped on a Tuesday, and as soon as they shipped I was watching the tracking data. I was super excited to receive my order! However, Friday came and went and my order still hadn’t arrived. I decided to wait another day and see what happened. Again, Saturday came and went with no box on my front step. I became concerned that my plants wouldn’t last sitting in a box for two more nights. On Sunday evening, and again on Monday, I contacted Mountain Crest to see if I could get with a representative and figure out where my order was. When Monday came, I checked my front porch every 30 minutes. No box. The same thing happened on Tuesday, then Wednesday, and FINALLY on Thursday, my order arrived (9 days after shipping!!). As expected, several of the plants are not going to survive. To top it off, despite contacting Mountain Crest twice, I still have not received a response or seen any effort to remedy the issues I had with my shipment. All in all, as much as I want to purchase additional plants from their wide assortment, I’m not sure I have enough confidence in their shipping and customer service to order again."

"Great packaging for my shipment of multiple items of varying sizes! I live in Ohio and received my order in Feb. I was concerned as the weather here had taken a quick drive into single digits. But everything arrived safe and sound with no temp damages whatsoever.
Only one drawback, my pinecone cactus, which was supposed to be "fully rooted" according to the website only had a single thread root. I know she will grow, but was hoping for a slightly more established root system.
Otherwise, plants were received in good health and quality.
