"Repairs are loaded up with tasks that are not necessarily needed to do the job. Example: replace disk brake pads - there is a $35 charge to remove and reinstall the rotors. Rotors seldom need to be removed to change the pads and mine were not. There is a $12 fee for "hardware". The tech could not tell me what this was for.
Yet the manager refused to remove these charges. He said some vehicles need it so they charge it to all!
When I bought two tires they pointed to the tire price at the top of the page. I didn't notice the additional fee for "road hazard" which I would never buy. They just put it on without asking.
My advice to other customers: go elsewhere. If you must - read everything, and decline the additional things they find wrong. Read everything before you approve a repair.
And go get another quote. Mr Tire quoted me $1600 for front end work that was performed by another garage for $850. "
"Terrible experience. I wouldn't trust this shop to properly clean my windshield. I found out ,post facto, that they have a terrible reputation in town.
In my case I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They called when it was done. As I approached the shop a tech informed me that everything was done and that he left the lug nut lock key in my glove box. I went inside, paid and as I exited glanced at my car. THE TIRES WERE NEVER TOUCHED ! I went back inside and told the manager (Dom) what happened and he asked " Are you sure ? " ABSOLUTELY ! I told him as I spend a lot of time on my car.
They retook the car in and I had to wait as they finally completed the work I paid for. I will NEVER return to this shop nor will anyone I know who needs any car service. It all goes to trust or in Mr. Tire case......lack of trust. "

"Wheels damaged during mounting of tire due to missing plastic clips on machine. Forged aluminum was gouged out along the lip. Tech and manager with honest and offered wheel repair to be scheduled later. Wheel repair was good but not anywhere near perfect.
Appreciate the effort to fix and the honesty but disappointed that my expensive wheels were damaged due to faulty equipment."
"I like that the men at the front desk know me by name and that makes me feel comfortable. I am always offered a ride so I don't have to sit in the site and wait for my car to be completed. I usually tell them my daughter or son in law will be picking me up. They call when my car is completed and it is usually before the quoted time."

"I was a long time customer of Mister Tire store 761. The store manager has changed that. He has no customer service skills at all. I took Royal Purple oil in for a oil change but the oil that is in my car is clear. Royal Purple oil is purple. This manager told me that my engine was dirty and that is what changed the color of my oil. I will never go back to this store as long as he is there."
"Mr. Tire located in Belair Md in the festival is the worst car service place I have ever been to. To start I did an online request for quote over the internet, I received a call and the gentle men was very nice and quoted me 250.20 for everything that I needed to get done ( Included rear right tire an full synthetic oil change and a wheel alignment). I decided to drop my car off the night before. Before doing so I called in to the office and spoke with a Jason, I explained to him that I was on my way but I had coupons and could I use them both together. He explained yes we can use multiple coupons at once. I arrive at the location and he tells me oh the coupons are already applied. I said well I don't understand because I had not even given him or showed him anything as of yet. So I asked what the price was and he stated 250.10 I said well that is the same price as before. So I pulled out my phone and found an additional $20.00 off if you spend 200. He said ok Ms. I can apply that. Everything else went smooth and I left my keys and was told my car will be available by 12:00 pm the very next day and I would receive a call when it is ready. Fast forward to the next day and it is now 2:00 pm and I have not heard anything from them. I decided to call and Jason picks up the phone and says let me go check to see if it is ready hold on one sec. after waiting for 6 minutes he comes back and says Im sorry Ms.Smith it looks like our Alignment machine has been tied up all morning but we have the tire on everything looks good we are just waiting to till the alignment machine is open up to complete the service, but as soon as we are done we will give you a call. I said okay I get off today at 5 so please call me when service is completed. We discontinue the call and about 20 minutes later Jason called back and said Ms.Smith we found some additional wear on another tire would you like to purchase this now. I told him no but when I got paid next week I would like to purchase a new one then. He told me okay not a problem I definitely understand we will just do the alignment and call you when we are done. We again disconnect the call. It is now 5:00pm and I have not heard anything from anyone, So I call again and a different gentlemen answers the phone. I tell him I was checking on the status of my car. He says Ms. Smith you had the new tire in the rear and a oil change it is ready for pick up. I explain to him no I was also suppose to get an alignment. The gentleman says well they did not complete that service because you need not one but TWO additional tires. When I asked what the policy was because NOONE has called me all day to inform me that the service that I came to you for was not being completed. He immediately says I thought they did call and puts me on hold. He did not ask just hit the hold button. Jason then comes to the phone and says is this Ms. Smith yeah they could do the alignment because of the two tires. I said Jason when I called you at 2:00pm you told me everything was fine they had already added the new tire you were just waiting for the Alignment machine to open up. So explain to me why 1. when you called to tell me an additional tire had wear on it and I declined to get the additional new tire did you not disclose with me with out this being done you could not do the alignment. and 2. Is it not the 3rd time that I have called you to check the status when you have promise 4 times that you would call when it was ready. His answer I thought when the machine cleared up you were just going to come in then and pick it up. At this point I am so over the whole situation in general. I asked Jason again why did no one call me to explain what was going on with my car. All he could was say is ummmm ummm umm. I then discontinued the call went to pick up my car, Jason was there with another guest so we were helped by a different gentle who gave me paper work and asked me to fill out a survey. Not once did Jason apologize not once did he even look in the direction of me. I put my trust into this company because of all the good reviews they had and I was treated as if I am not paying for the services and it was being completed for free. I do not recommend them to complete any services. The customer service was horrible and they are just not trust worthy. "
