"Called Mr Tire before making appt to find out what replacement brake pads would cost for 2009 Nissan Murano LE. I was quoted $109.00 and made appt for same day. However, once there and wheels off, I was told that it would be around $190.00. I said, "hey, what happened to the $109 I was quoted"? Was told that the prices start at that amount and then go up based on your vehicle model. Well, I provided that info over the phone and felt I was mislead on the price just to get me there. It worked because since they already had my tires off I did have them complete the sevice, but I will most likely NOT go back to this location because they were not upfront on the cost. Other than that, I was happy with the job they did. What a shame they could not quote a more accurate total price. Merchants Tire quoted me between $180 and $200 over the phone, and they had a $20 discount coupon on their website that would have had them slightly less expensive than Mr Tire. I will use them the next time."
