"I think the NCH software is great. I have used them for processing a wide array of videos and slides. My project started with transferring a VHS tape to a DVD on a Maganovox recorder. I took this DVD and then used Photostage on my PC to make new files. I also used VideoPad to edit the package and cut out bad video and link videos to slide shows. I was surprise on how many format changes were involed (.spj, .avi, .iso, .mp4) .I used Express Disc Burning software to go from an MP4 format directly to a video DVD. The discs were then cloned.

The only difficulty I encountered was not knowing about all of the format (extensions) I had to process. I ended up making a quick reference guide for each software package in order to keep my mind straight on the process. Some encoding took a long time to process and I thought the software was not working. I would think you might document this in your notes somewhere."

"I selected NCH Switch because it said it supported MP3 and Midi and I assumed that I would be able to convert readily.
After I purchased the software I found I couldn't transcribe MP3 to Midi and complained to NCH. They responded very quickly to confirm and explain the position and have solved my problem."

"The product was great. I used it for a class project and it got the job done beautifully. The software could be a bit more ascetically pleasing, but it's looks do not get in the way of how the software works at all. Sometimes the software crashed when I imported audio files in. However, I was able to work around this by clicking and dragging the software in."
