"Service, and customer support are great."
"I bought a mechanical keyboard on 10/31 2014, and unfortunately as it was a popular item on sale, it soon went out of stock. When the items were partially shipped I contacted its customer service to have the matter looked at. The item in question took a long time in being shipped but a service rep, Jonathan Hart, was on top of the matter and took time to explain the cause and answer any service related question. In the end, the keyboard was received without any problem and I thank Mr. Hart and NCIX for a great service."
"Ncix have excellent service , when ordering a item when was on back order , there customer service went out and tracked one down ... Rly quick on it and helpful ."
"Once again, another Canadian retailer lying about stock levels. Accusing them of lying may be going too far, but it's clear the way they handle stock estimates is inefficient. Sadly I can't really deduct too many stars from them as almost every competitor does the same. It's just the reality we have to put up with as a consumer. Maybe 1-2 online stores provide an semblance of better service. Customer service also does not seem to have accurate facts on their stock levels either. I would call and get different estimates. It's also insane that after waiting nearly 2 weeks that they don't try to upgrade the shipping method to try and get the product to me faster. You might think that's too much to ask, but I know of a few other retailers that would do so. Again I can't really deduct points for that as upgrading my shipping method on delayed orders would be above and beyond. I would rate the lack of such initiative as average, since it's sadly the norm.
The positives of NCIX are that when they do have legitimate stock, they are fairly timely. Especially if they have stock in a warehouse near you. Their price matching is easy, and they are respond in a timely manner. Prices vary, but they tend to have some good weekly and seasonal deals.
In summary, NCIX might be just a tad bit above average. Which speaks more to the state of Canadian retailers more than anything. At the end of the day I will still shop at NCIX due to lack of any other better alternatives, but am not fully pleased with this outcome."
"I wanted to just say that the customer service which I received from NCIX was fantastic. My questions were answered and addressed promptly. My customer service rep was able to help me with my back ordered item without question. Your pleasant attitude and ability to address my concerns will keep me coming back for future purchases! Thanks for all your help!"
"My first major purchase at NCIX recently was a very positive experience. It was a custom built pc which a friend had ordered but he died suddenly just before the pick up date. I was already involved because I had agreed to put the deposit for the machine on my credit card.
Steven Choi in Vancouver was sympathetic to the situation, initially offering to refund the deposit. He was willing to put everything on hold while I thought about going ahead with the purchase myself and was then very helpful and accommodating when I decided to buy the system but wanted to make changes to several of the components.
I now have the pc up and running and I'm very impressed with it and totally satisfied with my NCIX experience. What I found even more impressive was that I was given a large box with the original packaging and documents for every component as well as the Windows disk.
I have no hesitation in recommending NCIX to family and friends and I will most certainly shop there again."
"I am a VIP member with NCIX and recently purchased a photo editing desktop computer parts from them. Honestly went around and searched for the best prices and they had the lowest prices from the motherboard to the processor. Incredible savings and especially their customer service rep, Johnathan T. who assisted me with a SSD drive that I recently purchased and the following day went on sale for $60 less than it was originally. He had taken care of my issue which was a price decrease from the time I purchased my SSD drive. Thank you Johnathan for the customer service you have provided and I will surely return the favour by purchasing another hardware from NCIX. Now is the waiting of my parts to arrive to be picked up, its only been 2 days but excited to assemble them together."
"The shipping took a week and I reiceived my items as described. The costumer support was great."
"Great selection of products I do not see elsewhere and always with a great price I am happy with."
"the only place i go to for stuffs"
"Box arrived open and left on my porch (Purolator) and low and behold an HDMI cable was missing. Called, talked briefly with a very friendly rep who sent me another one right away.
No hassle, no fuss. This is what customer service is all about."
"Jonathan was very quick with changing my order to a pickup."
"The rebate system is very convoluted, frustrating, and not worth the money rebated! Having said that, after spending over an hour on the phone with Jonathan at NCIX I was able to make inroads and get through most of the process. Kudos to NCIX and shame on the manufacturers for creating a system designed to frustrate the consumer to the point of exhaustion."
"This review is updated from 2 to 5 stars (I left the original 2 star bellow in case someone would like to read it), only because NCIX staff went well above and beyond to try correct what was clearly a technical issue, albeit very frustrating one. Cheers guys and thank you Jonathan Hart, you are a great guy.
I do have to say, I still think CC form MUST be better. As for the phone glitch, I guess these things happen and I have no doubt the problem will be corrected.
Original Review:
Fast shipping yes (although at the moment of writing this review I still haven't received my items, this is based on previous experience).
BUT, payment didn't go through. Message I received was that the address verification failed.
Fair play, I did move, checked with my bank, address is updated all is well.
I try calling NCIX and their phone system is horrible.
First I get directed straight to a VM, leave a message wait few hours no call.
Second time I give them a call I wait in line for about 34 minutes to be directed to the same VM box.
Then I send a message via their portal and I get a reply back that I did not type in all of my CC numbers !?
One would think that an online retailer (esp IT one) would have a web payment form that is smart enough to identify if one has typed in 16 numbers or less and notify the person immediately that something is off.
Got on the phone the next day, I call their customer care number and get randomly redirected to an extension I never even dialed.
Try number two on day number two, after a bit of a wait, finally got me to an actual person who sorted this out for me.
Nothing against people that work there, they are great but their online sales and support system needs improvement worthy of the year 2014.
