"My review of my most recent NCIX experience is very mixed.

The person who looked after me with my questions (Jonathan Hart) is incredibly good at working with customers and making sure their needs are looked after and well taken care of.

That said, I do have some issues with my overall NCIX experience. When I purchased a TV earlier this year, I was able to select a variety of shipping methods (e.g. UPS, Canada Post, Purolator) and I chose one only to find out they wouldn't deliver the TV due to the size of it. I had to fish for that information. That was unfortunate.

My most recent purchase is a laptop. I'm somewhat surprised that I placed my order two days prior to Black Friday and the Black Friday rush had such an impact on my order. My whole reason for ordering ahead of time (and possibly paying more) was to get ahead of the rush. Taking a week to ship my order is not as exceptional as I would hope.

However, my customer service agent at least said he would try to get my order moved up the queue. Much appreciated.

I enjoy dealing with NCIX most of the time for most things, but I believe their business can grow and become even more amazing if they pay attention to details more and their staff follows the lead of the excellent customer service I had the pleasure of receiving."

Today I had an unsolicited phone call from NCIX customer support and he expedited both orders and subsequently sent me the tracking numbers for the courier shipments.
I give credit to NCIX in being proactive in resolving the issues I had.

Probably the worst online shopping experience I've had in recent memory!
Placed 2 orders and both are messed up:
- One item showed in-stock online but when I got the invoice it showed as back ordered. Called customer support and changed the item for another 'in-stock' item and now have an order status of 'partially shipped' but no acknowledgement or the change in order or shipping status.
- The second order was missing the memory. It also now shows as 'partially shipped'.
I had some great expectations for NCIX.
Talk about disappointing!"
