An Oops, but soon corrected

"I ordered a Brooks saddle and a replacement chain guard for my Brompton. Received the Brooks saddle, which was of high quality, and an incorrect part for the chain guard even though I had been diligent in providing the correct part number. Called Mark Levy, who quickly recognized the error. Without hesitation, he sent me a prepaid return label for the incorrect item, and set up a replacement order. Although the correct chain guard was not in stock, I received the replacement within two weeks."

"I was clearly excited about ordering a cool bag for my new Brompton; so excited that I entered too many numbers In my street address. I called right away and talked to a nice guy who fixed everything. I've received my order and am very happy. Fast and friendly, just the ticket. "

pathetic customer service - arrogant unfriendly attitude

"Bought a Tern D8 over Xmas from NYCE. Very eager to sell the product online. The bike arrived totally untuned, and wheels that wobbled constantly; almost being unsafe. After many emails, calls, sending photos and videos to have the problem corrected, finally got a hold of "Mark", who basically said it was not his problem, and I should return the wheels to the manufacturer. I am convinced, they did none of the bike tune-up, threw the bike in the box and let the buyer worry about the rest. Totally pathetic, unhelpful attitude -- top to bottom. Save your money, don't purchase a bike from these clowns."

"I am very satisfied with NYCEwheels. My order arrived quickly, well packaged and in good shape. I just took my scooter of tif the box and started riding. The ride feels very stable and very smooth. It is everything they said it is. I got it to have lower body exercise. It is a lot more fun and uses different muscles than when I walk. I am seventy five years old. I have a helmet but will need elbow and knee pads. Thank you for a lot of fun."

"NYCEwheels sent the product in good condition, on time, and it performed as expected. The only problem had to do with some auxiliary parts, which were not shipped with the product as expected. It took numerous phone calls to get the right parts, and to receive credit for unneeded parts that were returned. But in the end, NYCEwheels got it all sorted correctly, and I'm happy with the result."

"I ordered a kickped from NYCEwheels on 20-Aug-15 and was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks for item to arrive in Singapore. I checked the item using USPS tracking number in early September and it has been reflecting 'Item departed a transfer airport in Singapore Changi Airport on 01-Sep-15' even till today. I have called up Singapore customs twice over whole of last week and they claimed there is no such item in their records! Emailed NYCEwheels but they replied matter is out of their hands as item is already with USPS and USPS at their end claims that item 'should have' arrived and scanned at Singapore Changi Airport and hence suspects item is held at customs and would therefore need a 30-days investigation (conducted via post?!!) to be carried out before getting back to me. I have previously ordered items from Amazon, ebay and most recently Chain Reaction Cycles and have never encountered such issues before. Made expensive IDD calls to USPS but could only speak to answering machine for 20 minutes each time and which could only direct me to the same message linked to tracking number. Really disappointing experience and I don't think I will ever order from websites again other than the 3 trusted ones mentioned above. Totally helpless as I can only countdown to the end of the 30 days investigation which might even return a result 'item is lost in transit'.

Finally received my item on 02-Oct-2015. Delivery was a big let down but at least the item arrived in good condition (yet to test it). Better late than never.
