The staff is fantastic and always ready to help with any question or problem. I've purchased two electric bikes this month, both recommended by Peter. I think if I lived in NYC, I'd be in that store frequently. The fact that you can test drive just about anything they sell is a major plus (though I didn't test drive either of my bikes). The second electric bike I purchased was a folding electric bike. After riding it a few hundred feet, one of the pedals sheared off the crank. This was obviously a defective pedal. But one call to NYCEwheels and a replacement pedal is on its way to me. I picked up one bike and ordered the second over the internet. The hardest part of the first purchase was finding a parking space in Manhattan. The second order (ordered by Internet) came packed as though they expected that a bulldozer might run over it. They said that orders shipped are repackaged for shipping, but someone in that store has a packing fetish. I have never received anything packed so well. I'll be a customer for life (or as long as they stay in business). "

"Ordering online from NYCeWheels is very user friendly. Almost everything you need to know about what you want to order is written in their website. If you can't find the answers you need, just email them and someone answers your email right away. The staff are very friendly, and they even call you up just to make sure they understand what we want. "I needed some 20" fenders for my Dahon Mu Uno, shopped around, and saw that Nycewheels had some in stock that were made by SKS (my fav bicycle fender brand) and designed to fit Tern folding bicycles (the Dahon breakaway company) Although the incomplete pic on their website & lack of more full description made me weary of just outright buying at first, the price seemed nice and with some research it appeared there wouldn't be any fit issues so I bought without sending a fit inquiry (which I'm sure they would have answered as best they could). The fenders arrived in good time, were packed well in a box with plenty of protection (very important to me) and I just finished installing them. I'm happy to say that the fit is near perfect, with plenty of clearance for my Schwalbe Marathon Racer tires, it even had extra hardware (never a complaint-always a blessing) and all the work was done with 3 allen wrench sizes (not included-but come on-doesn't every bicyclist have a multi-allen tool?). The quality of the fenders is everything you'd expect out of SKS--insanely light, stainless, high quality hardware, near-indestructable chromoplastic (I've only ever broke an SKS fender once--in a 20 below ice bike wreck--and when I wrote SKS, they sent me the piece I broke, gratis!). One note, not that it mattered to me, the one part of the tiny provided pic of the fender is a stickey-outey mudflap part that doesn't exist on the Tern version of the SKS fender--that pic is more accurate with the way the older model looked from what I researched. The actual fenders do not have a mudflap end that sticks out--the rubber part continues in the same radial direction as the rest of the fender. Worth noting. Nycewheels--put up a new pic. Anyway- this was my first purchase from Nycewheels, but I'm sure I'll find myself browsing their selection in the future. I love their video reviews of the bikes they carry, and if they implement a better system of surfing and finding accessories easier (which kinna sucks right now- I actually found these fenders from a google search even though I had previously failed to find them from within the Nycewheels website! eek!) I'm sure I'll at least be back for more bike supplies if not an actual bike purchase in the future. "
"I called and spoke to a rep at the store regarding the bike I wanted to purchase. I got all the information I needed regarding shipping and unpacking and setting up the bike. Went online and placed my order, very smooth transaction, no problems. Bike arrived on schedule, unpacked just like the store rep said it would and was riding in an hour. Road my bike all this past weekend and love it! Glad I went through NYCE for my purchase! "
