"Very Shady Dealer...gave me the 'ol' bait and switch'. Be very careful with these folks. Ordered a Canon DM 100 microphone this retailer is showing for $40 less than the nearest competition and $60 less than Canon. Too good to be true? EXACTLY!
Got an email telling me there was a problem with the order...no details...just call them. Called and they told me the microphone was on an 8 week back order. Then they tried to sell me a $60 microphone with mediocre reviews for $149 - $10 more than the much better Canon microphone. When I hesitated, they offered to lower it to the $139 Canon Price and told me another customer just took the same deal.
I checked online and saw the price others were selling the other microphone for - around $60. Cancelled the order immediately. Not sure if the other customer was real or just something they say to entice you further...but if real I feel sorry for that person. S/he got ripped off big time.
Never use these guys again. And, remember the old adage, if it sounds to good to be true...it probably is."

I originally thought they had "bait-and-switched" me but after a few e-mails, wherein I expressed my frustration at the order process, they have been very proper, personal, and apologetic. I was originally only asking for a "return authorization" number to return the product. A customer service rep actually said they would give me a full refund and allow me to keep the product as well. Their willingness to compromise and acknowledge my frustration suggests that they really didn't mean any harm from the beginning. However, I might need a few more good experiences with them to fully recommend them. "
"Facts of my experience:
I saw a rock-bottom price of $169 for a Canon 55-20 IS Zoom lens and was lured into doing business with them. The item is listed as "in stock". The next day a representative called to inform me that in fact it was "out of stock" but should be available in 2 weeks. He tried to sell me a UV filter for $59. I declined and politely told him that $59 was too high a price for a UV filter. He then recommended that if I get a UV filter elsewhere, make sure it is a "HD filter". Now, I am no idiot when it comes to optics and I know that was a complete lie. I stupidly waited 2 weeks then called to ask when I could expect delivery. This time the representative told me that it would be another 2 weeks. I immediately canceled my order.
My opinion:
My opinion is that they lure customers with low prices, then do bait and switch, or try to sell overpriced accessories. I do not believe they ever planned to sell me that lens at the advertised low price.

"I was very pleased with doing business with NWV. I made an error and ordered the wrong lens cap, and the person that helped through email me was so kind, told me to keep the wrong lens cap and sent me the correct promptly.
I would definitely order from NWV again.
