"I was not so smarte before becoming a Newegg Premier member and started saving Big Bucks by shopping at New egg and purchased my 1st Intel Processor from them and talking to thier Team for an hour, my IQ went up 30 points over night. It has continued to go up every time I spoke to Newegg. My IQ tests tell the story. It is amazing how smart the Premier sales team is from all hours of training they get. Nothing can stop it from rubbing off on the customers they speak too. Look at the Bill Betty Buckear's story, he used to have a southern draw that was turning the ladies away. Before joining the Premier club. After only 10 purchases, his days of speaking way down yonder were gone forever. He is now a changed man. A Ladies man!!! He sends James Bond last weeks flavor of the week. His Southern Draw is sweet as Sugar to all the ladies... They paid for the return and promptly sent a replacement. I forgot to include a cord with the return but they still accepted it without question. Incredible service! "I have purchased thousands of dollars of equipment from Newegg over many years. Most experiences have been Very Good to Excellent. However, there have been several "Less than good" experiences, and all of those were due to equipment received DOA or damaged. Having to pay for return shipping on DOA items just leaves a bad taste. The last bad experience was this week, when a unit was apparently damaged in transit - never reaching me - returned to Newegg by the shipper. Not Newegg's fault, and Newegg did immediately refund the money, but I didn't ask for a refund, nor was I ever asked. I wanted the unit that had been ordered from a daily 'Shell Shocker'. The agent offered a $65 rebate to bring the unit down to the sale price, but to get that sale price, I have to first re-order at the full retail price. Then, after receiving it, call Newegg to see if someone can be located who will acknowledge the $65 refund due. Newegg already had acknowledged receipt of the damaged unit, so all that was necessary was to send a new unit in its place. Making a customer 'jump thru hoops' is good for discouraging them from following-up on rebates and refunds, but not my idea of "good business"."

"I ordered a DVI-I to VGA adapter, but I really needed a DVI-D to VGA. Even though the item was inexpensive, I asked about returning it. Agent Christy Y. was very helpful. The cost of return was greater than the cost of the order, so NewEgg issued a gift card to me. So when I need to purchase a laptop soon, I will definitely put NewEgg at the top of the list when searching for it."
"I have ordered several times from NewEgg and received good merchandise. Their statements about shipping are fraudulent, however. I ordered on Wednesday 9/27 at noon, and paid for "two day shipping" because I needed the item by the weekend. The order confirmation states 2 day shipping, and estimated shipping to occur on 9/27 -- great -- I will have this by Friday 9/29. Now the tracking sheet says delivery will be 9/30, Saturday, and in talking with customer service they say that actually there are no weekend deliveries and so it won't actually be delivered until Monday 10/2. Why did I pay for "two day" shipping that will actually take five days? Now they won't even refund the excess shipping fee. "

"Newegg is a store that should be listed as "what to strive for" when coming to online businesses. Not only do they offer decent products that competes with the prices elsewhere (unless the place is having a sale), their customer service is actually top notch. You can not only call them but chat with them instead of going through the endless loop of the touch-tone service that has become the norms of "service" these days. Mavia, one of their customer service agents once again proved my point when it comes to this store's dedication to keeping their customers happy---and not only focusing their attention in grabbing new customers for a quickie sale."
"The first person I spoke with through the chat session was not helpful and the experience felt rushed. However, when I decided to call, this is where NewEgg CS really shined. I purchased the i7-8700K within, litterally, seconds of the cpu becoming available. Unfortunately I was not fast enough and mine was placed on back order. I never saw the item become available to begin with so I assumed the back-order was a new launch glitch. My customer care associate explained the entire process, furthermore, looking up exactly how many units where available and, appologetically, informing me that I was too late. I live on the East Coast. I got up at 2:30AM just to hit browser refresh every 15 seconds to try to get the cpu and I was still late. This exployee went above and beyond, to the point of even refunding my thermal paste next day air shipping (since I didn't need it as soon, as a result). The employee actually listened to my plight and made me feel valued, which is really lacking in modern busines. This is the EGGxact reason why I have chosen NewEgg for my electronics needs for the last 20years and will continue to do so. If I could offer any advice to NewEgg it would this; as difficult as it may be, try to make the chat session more personable like a phone call. Even when everything goes wrong, I the customer, still appreciate the friendly customer service. "

I told him about all the difficulty I'd had initially with Comcast and then how much time I had spent on the phone trying to get a replacement for my defective product.
