"They didn't have everything I wanted, but they did have the motherboard and processor (Asus A7V333, AMD Athlon XP 2100+) at decent prices. The free fed-ex saver shipping was real nice! I recieved the goods in a timely fashion, and everything works.

They also did a better job with the digital photographs of their merchandise on their website than most other vendors I've done business with.

I would definitely do business here again.

"These guys have a very easy to use webpage, and great prices. They aren't the fastest to initially ship your order, but it arrived packaged well in good condition.

Unfortunately I had a DOA cpu. They require that you promptly notify them of the issue within 7 days. That would be acceptable if it hadnt then taken them three weeks to get my replacement cpu back to me. They dont advance replace cpus, and they took much too long to both approve my rma and to send my replacement part. To their credit, I did receive a working cpu, but it was nearly one month from the date, that I received all working parts. I would order from them again in the future, but not if my order was time sensitive."

"Heres a warning to any person considering buying parts from Nutrend.com. I recently spent $1400 in parts on their site only to receive a defective piece of memory. Regardless of the OS being installed, this system returns a myriad of corrupted file errors. After swapping all parts out except Motherboard and Memory I still had the errors. I stuck another piece of memory in the system, and poof, all problems gone. All speed ratings have been double checked.

Now after explaning the situation twice to Maribel, supervisor of customerCARE, Nutrend insisted on charging a 15% restocking fee for the DIMM. How much does it cost to restock a DIMM, I can't image this is a large investment in man hours. The DIMM restocking cost me $23.25, PLUS the shipping for a replacement. So in theory, nutrend.com could ship atleast one defective part in all shipments, and collect atleast 15% of the part as a profit. Morever, they could in fact send the SAME defective part over and over again, and make a significant profit. Nice business plan guys.

I would advice all parts purchasers to look past Nutrend.com, as they are out to make a buck, regardless of the customer satisfaction. This will eventually lead to a bad reputation, that will hopefully put them out of business.

"Ordered a Geforce 4 card from them on 8/30. 5 days later, it still had not shipped, so I called, I was told they'd check into it and call me right back. They never did, so I called back late that day, I was told it would ship that day. It didn't. So I called back the next day (9/5), and was a little less patient with them this time, and they promised to ship it that day, and upgraded the shipping to overnight air.

A frustrating experience, as the phone rep never seemed all that interested in the problem. Though, certainly to their credit, they did agree to overnight my delivery due to their delay. A mixed bag overall. Very good prices, but their customer service could be a bit better. I do think I would shop with them again though, if nothing else to give them another try."

"I ordered my ti4200 from Nutrend on 8/29 and they charged my credit card on 8/30. However, my order was "Still processing", according to their website. After an entire week and no card, I decided to call up Nutrend and see what's going on. Turns out, because my billing and shipping addresses are different and because my shipping address isn't on file with the CC company (I've actually never had a problem with any other company not shipping to an address not on file), they decided not to ship and failed to ever mention this fact to me. Yet, they still managed to charge my card and when I asked them about this, they said it's their policy to charge first and then look up the verification...

So for anyone who's shipping to a different address than their billing address, make sure your address is on file with the CC and keep a close eye on your Nutrend order... "

"I came across this site while researching video card prices on Pricewatch.com. At the time I was also looking to build a system for my brother, but didn't want to order a full barebones system as I already had a hard drive, CDROM, and memory to give him. Nutrend had decent reviews here, so I thought I'd give them a try.

Nutrend's "Build Your Own PC" feature was just what I was looking for. They had just the motherboard I was looking for, the ECS K7S5A, and their prices on AMD Athlon XP processors were cheap. Since I was saving so much I spent a couple extra bucks on the case and floppy and got him a black rig. For less than $500 my brother has become the envy of his LAN parties.

Best of all, I placed the order on Monday, July 22nd. It was shipped, FedEx, the next day, and arrived at my home in Colorado on Thursday, July 25th.
