"I just ordered a complete Yakima rack system for my Subaru Outback to carry bikes and a kayak. I wasn't 100% sure what I need for this car, so I called and they helped through every step of the way, even made suggestions for the best carriers for my specific bikes and kayak. The shipping is amazing (was free too!) and i got it just a couple days later. Very happy and highly recommend this company to others."

"This was my first and last purchase from ORS. Prices were low but customer service was terrible. Ordered an Inno car rack system. Delivery was delayed to obtain parts from the manufacturer. When I finally got everything, turns out they misfit my car and sent me all the parts for the wrong model year. I ended up waiting 2 weeks for the wrong parts. They promised to reship the correct parts and only 1 out of 3 boxes showed up. A second box came directly from the MFG. but it came with instructions for a different model and year VW than my car so it took 3 hours to fit the rack. The "free" wind fairing never showed up and when I called about it, they said they would send it, which they did but I could tell it had been returned as it was completely scratched and the parts were already assembled. The customer service people are nice but they don't really seem to care about getting things right. "

"Not a fan at all. Very disappointed in customer service. I ordered a simple replacement bolt for my Yakima hitch rack along with a lock for that bolt. I ordered it 8 days ago, have not received an email letting me know it has shipped. I have tried calling and have sent two emails. No response as to the status of this order."

"Ordered my racks they said they had in stock. Then get a email that they dont have all the parts in stock and I would have to wait over about a week in a half for the parts to come in. So I tried calling them to see if they had a diffrent one in stock. First time I tried I called 3 times (Friday), left a message and sent them a email. Never heard back from them. Then tried to call on (Tuesday, Monday they were close for a holiday) Had to call about 3 times before I actually got something beside there answer machine. The guy said he had a diffrent bar that could be shipped out. Said he was going to test it to make sure it worked. If not he would call me back. If they worked I should get a email with a tracking number that night. No email and did not hear back from them. So I call on Wednesday morning, had to call 2 time to get a person on the phone. The person I talked to said nothing was done with my order and they are still wating for the parts. So I decided to cancel my order and order from somewhere else. TERRIBLE customer service! It's like they didn't even care about making a sale. Heck I could imagine the run around to return something if you had too. Spend your money elsewhere!"

"This is my second order with this company. They have the lowest prices that I could find on the Internet as well as locally.

My first order was to purchase the Yakima Landing Pad system for my car so that I could have removable racks on my Toyota Prius. I thought I had the correct parts list, but they were able to help me get it all sorted out and ensure I ordered all the right parts for my car to ensure I stayed within the warranty.

They were also able to work with me to find a local location to ship both of my cargo boxes to which was too big to be sent to a residential address.
