Great stores poor delivery

"On January 4th 2019 I ordered $1,000 computer at the store I scheduled it to be delivered to my home they said it would be delivered approximately January 10th January 10th came around and no delivery I had one person scheduled to install it on the 10th which I still had to pay because they came and there was no computer the next day I went to the store they say they've showed me that it would be XIV I waited and still no delivery I waited till the 17th no delivery I went to the store they said it would be very soon and that they delivery company would call me no call I called directly to the delivery part of the company and I talked to the spoke with someone they said that a day ago they tried to deliver it I was home all day and I have ring it is a electronic doorbell with communication and video I reviewed the day in question it was videotaped and no one came to the door with a computer no one ring the bell with a computer the service provided for me is very poor all I want is my computer delivered I wonder when it'll come please help me I'm at my wit's end I'm trying to be as nice as possible under the circumstances"

Deceptive marketing/false advertising/ terrible customer service

"Office Depot advertised a promotion for double back in rewards on all writing from 9/30-10/13. On 10/6 I purchased some writing items, but I only received 4% back instead of double (200%) back. The rep informed me that the deal was actually double rewards (4% back) instead of double back in rewards, even though my screenshot of the deal says differently. Office Depot changed the wording of the deal after the fact and then refused to honor the deal as it was written at the time of purchase. It is very poor customer service to refuse to honor an advertised promotion, but changing the promotion in an effort to confuse customers and get out of honoring it is deceptive and shady. Customer service has been terrible and after arguing back and forth for several weeks the rep finally told me I can return the items if I have an issue with it or else hire a lawyer to pursue the false advertising. When a company would rather get lawyers involved than honor their own promotion that says a lot about the company. Buy at your own risk and be sure to screenshot every step of the way."

CANCELLATION ORDER

"I was shopping online for toilet paper and saw a 12 toilet paper for 8.99 so I put it in my cart went to check out put all my information card info etc. Once I was done with I thought it was going to give me my summary of my purchased before i confirm it just like other websites, but no it processed my order and was charged $18 and some cents I was so mad because if I wouldve known that I couldve just pick it up if was charging me a lot for shipping. I immediately called customer service to cancel order they said it was going to get tranferred to help desk to get it cancelled and it was going to take a few hours to get cancelled. I called next day still not cancelled its processing I called 2nd day which is Saturday still getting processed , I wait till Monday morning and I get an email saying my order is being shipped . I called and they tell unfortunately since it has been shipped there's no way to cancel order or to return !!! Never again shopping online in Office Depot . This is my first time experiencing this on online shopping . I never had any issues with other companies. "

"These guys are terrible. They just cancel orders for no apparent reason, CS knows nothing and when they finally do ship something out it took over 2 weeks to get it. I was expecting more from a national brand. "

"I ordered a office phone from the website and they send me a phone without a power cable I spend extra $10 for a power cable they didn’t send me the good one so I called them I was over our with them on the phone and they said me they don’t have the power cable what kind of company is that they have a phone with out a cable I waste my time I waste my money on this company I paid already for a mount for my phone line and I can’t use it because companies don’t give me a table and use the phone I paid already for a mount for my phone line and I can’t use it because the company didn’t give me a cable to use the phone no one should by form them The worst experience I ever had "

"They do not give respect to customers. I ordered an item and they promised to deliver on time and they did !! by sending a wrong item and then they told to correct it by replacing it with the correct item and made me waited for some more days and finally told that they cancelled the order due to some reasons... Who want to hear this after waiting for so long???"

Don’t use! 1 star for a reason!

"I ordered a desktop online plus extended warranty for 60 dollars. Desktop not what I needed so the recording said I could return it at a store. Boxed it up drove 20 miles to closest store to find out that it could not be returned in a store because I purchased it with PayPal. So I called the 800 number and they processed the return for pick up. I got an email that it would be picked up between 8 and 5 the next day. I took the day off and at 5 got an email that they couldn’t make it until next day, after I sat all day and missed a day of work. They got it and issued a credit for the desktop but not the protection plan which cost 59.99.

I have called 5 times over the last six weeks and each agent assures me she is processing it again and that the credit will show up in 3 to 5 days. It never shows up so just demanded to speak to a supervisor and was told that one was not available and that I can receive a call back. Well I know how that will play out so I insisted that I would hold. Seems at that point they were able to locate one who said he would look into it and give me a call back. Bahahahanaha! Please, there is a reason these people have 1 star ratings!

Horrible Service!

"I received a defective product from Office Depot, first call to them was perfect. Customer service ordered replacement for me and told me they'd come to pick it up. They sent me an email confirmation letting me know which date they would come, I took a day off, but no one showed. 2nd call to them, apologized to me again, told me the same thing, received yet another confirmation email for picking up. You guessed, no one showed again. This went on a few times, lingered for more than a month; took a few days off every time I received an confirmation email that someone would be here. After that, I finally asked for a manager to get to the phone; and nope, 'she is off today, but will give you a call', never received a call from anyone! It wasn't until I threatened to dispute the charge on my credit card then they started to respond. Well, someone finally came to pick the defective item up, it's been almost 20 days....and I have not received any follow up from Office Depot and still have not seen it being credited back to my credit card. I will not use their online order service again!"

BEWARE

"I wish I could give 0 stars. I had made a purchase a year ago and created an online account. A few days ago, my online account was used to make a fraudulent purchase. I contacted customer service (which is clearly in another country) and they said that they cancelled my order. Well, I receive an update on shipping and "my order" is still being delivered. I call back and tell them that I did not place the order and it was supposed to be cancelled. They tell me, it's cancelled. I receive a phone call from a scam line (not actually Office Depot) saying that my order cannot be cancelled. When I ask to speak with a supervisor, they hung up on me. I called the number back, and it's clearly a scam number. Finally, my fiance calls the store and they put her through to the fraud center, which insists that I have to accept delivery and return the computer to the store which is 30 miles away. I have now completely had it with this company. I drive the stupid computer to the store and deal with the unfriendly manager, Ben, who tells me it will now be "a few days" until my refund hits my card (the fraud specialist had said it would be that day). I am now livid. If you have an online account with this store, delete it immediately. They have no web security and everyone you will deal with has no idea how to actually fix your problem."

"signed up for credit card with promise of $50.00 off first bill. Got bill no $50.00 . Told now it was only for business credit cards. Would someone tell the lying idiot sales guy not to give customers the business. I promise to never shop there again and influence others to take their business elsewhere. Better places to spend your money

"I spoke to a commercial customer service agent about opening an account for our small business. The agent explained that they don't open commercial accounts unless you are spending a minimum of $6k a month. Basically they don't support small/new business. I told him that eBay and Amazon can easily do better than that even in non-commercial setting.

DON'T SHOP HERE!!!

"Ordered a desk....it was shipped in parts...some parts came one day the rest came another day! As we put the desk together we found that the drill hole was placed too close to the side of the desk and would not accommodate the screw with washer to fit properly. I called customer service, got INDIA....they don't give a crap! Told me to wait for an email. Got one from INDIA, didn't give a crap or response. Called to complain, got INDIA, put me on hold to transfer and never came back on the phone! Got no where! Called another phone number, got the Philippines. They did nothing as well. DO NOT SHOP HERE! GO TO A MORE RELIABLE RETAILER.....STAPLES....HAYNEEDLE.....WAYFAIR.....ANYWHERE BUT HERE! UNLESS YOU LOVE PROBLEMS THAT ARE NEVER RESOLVED!~"

Horrible associates and managers

"Horrible!! I had an issue with a manager: he would not even look at me when he was talking to me so I couldn't get his name. So, I guess you can't look someone in the eye when u r talking to them. Anyway, I was furious considering what had happened to cause me to have to speak with him in the first place. I thought customer service was still a thing. GUESS NOT! That's not all. I wrote an email explaining my situation and received a quick response that my concerns would be sent to the store (Vine street in Kissimmee florida) and I would hear from someone in 24 hours. I waited three days since it was a weekend and heard nothing. I wrote again. Again i was assured that my concerns were now being sent to the district manager and not just the store. That was 5 days ago. I am not gonna stand to be ignored! That is not customer service and I'm not gonna accept it. No one should accept poor customer service!!! I'm gonna keep writing until I get a response. ! No wonder store managers don't know how to assist customers their managers done give a crap either!! DO NOT GO TO THE STORE ON VINE STREET IN KISSIMMEE FLORIDA. GO 2 MIlES AWAY TO THE ONE AT HUNTERS CREEK WHERE THEY APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND YOU R NOT TREATED LIKE CRAP!!"
