"I have had trouble in the past with Old Navy, but thought I would give them a try again. I ordered a couple of times and seemed fine. Ended up returning a couple of items, separate returns. Both times I tried to exchange the return items for a lounge set. Both times I was told that I was being refunded and that the items were not available at the time of return. Now I have kept watch on these items all during this time. Not once have they been out of stock or unavailable. The worst part is their customer service. All you get for replies is pat answers saying sorry we hope you will give us another try... What good does that do me? I had wanted to do the exchange to save on shipping costs. I already paid for shipping on the first itmes and they say that they will ship for free on exchanges. It's hard to know what sizes to order on different items as one shirt be fine in a M and another might need to be a differnt size. So ahving to go and re-order soemthing when the exchange should have been made is very unfair and seems shady to me. Not once but twice I tried to get the same lounge set shipped in exchange. At theime of the return being received and at the time of the refund the set was available online, not once was it out. Seems liek they just want to get out of the free shipping and get me to re-order again!"

"OldNavy.com

Does not care about their customers. I have ordered from them plenty. Unfortunately, their practices are not fair with Customers. Their customer service is awful and have no human knowledge. I have ordered from them in the past and been Happy, unfortunately 2 orders so far have not been delivered (separate times)and I have notified UPS and they asked me to notify the shipper which I did. Now, old navy states they can't do anything about it. Signature was required for delivery. They took money and wont return it or give an option for store credit.. Horrible service ever...

"GE Capital has cost you a customer.

I had moved and put in my change of address. I confirmed the address on the website IS correct. Only the phone number was still old.

In November, I bought some goods and used my Old Navy card to pay for the items due to a promotion.

I never received a bill. Two months went by, and I never received a bill.

Now, I'm sure there's a good reason for this, like the apt. # getting cut off the end of the address or something, but then I find I'm charged $25 late fee for each month. The purchase was only $80. Is that legal?

So I retype the address and correct the phone number. I then decide to call to see if I can get things straightened out.

I'm met with an "oh well" attitude. When I said, "I don't want to deal with this hassle, just close my account." I get "do you realize you can use your Old Navy card at Gap and Banana Republic?" Umm... Do you realize that you can't mail a simple bill to my apartment? Even if we straighten this out now, who's to say I'm going to get the next bill? No thanks. Cancel the card. I'll shop elsewhere.

UPDATE: I got a call from some CSR in India reminding me that there's still a balance on my account (the payment I made online hadn't cleared) so she can't close the account. What a way to show you give a crap about your customers guys!

"AWFUL! I ordered 16 shirts which were all in stock when I placed my order - my credit card was even charged and I recieved an e-mail confirmation.

Four days later when I checked my status online, it shows everything as out of stock and canceled.

I could understand if they made a mistake, but it has been 10 days later and I have recieved no contact from them even telling me my order was canceled - if I hadn't had checked online, I would still think they were coming.
Very POOR customer service and I will not be buying from them again.

"i bought a pair of size 2 short jeans online but recieved a size 8 short. i emailed them and they didn't reply to me until a week later.
i had to return these jeans at an old navy store. a couple of weeks later, i bought another pair of jeans (size 2 short) online and AGAIN i got a pair of size 8 short jeans.
i emailed them and they told me that they would look into this problem but nothing.
this time, i sent the jeans back through the mail . i wrote that i wanted a size 2 short but they were sold out before the jeans got back to them.
caused me a lot of trouble and wasted my time. i will never deal with oldnavy.com again!

"I order from Old Navy about once a month. My shipments always come in a timely fashion and you cannot beat the $5 shipping. I love that I can return things in the store or do an exchange for no extra cost through the mail. "

"My third or fourth time ordering from Old Navy [online] - always satisfied. Flat $5 shipping and for $10 bucks more bump it up to 2-day shipping. [I lucked out this time because apparently I am guessing there was a glitch and they sent my order via Overnight Delivery!!] Great styles of jeans for guys - as that is basically what I buy from them. Always send me a card with my order giving me free shipping next time I buy. :)

"Order was late like 3 days so I'm somewhat satisfied not totally. All my stuff came after 3 days after the date that was promised to be the latest. This was probably due to the changed in Carrier. From UPS to USPS. But they did notified me about the change, but only after I asked them. This was a bit disappointing. If they just said that it will be late a few days, then I would be ok with that"

"Old Navy is a well known and trusted retailer. Their online service is no different. They have their "famous" $5 flat rate shipping and if you check the "bargain" links you can score some pretty good deals. This was the first time I've shopped for clothes online and it sure beats dragging my family to the mall."

"Old Navy consistently exceeds my expectations. I have ordered from them several times for my husband and myself. They always have great clothes at even better prices. Many of my favorite clothing pieces come from Old Navy. Also, my husband considers their ringer style men’s shirts a staple in his wardrobe. The best part about Old Navy is that they only show the colors and sizes that they actually have in stock. They won’t even show you something unless they have it ready to ship. The shipping prices are decent and I always receive my order within 5 days when using standard shipping. The only down side – I have to pay taxes because of the state that I live in. "
